Catching up....

Well I havent posted in a while and I needed to update everyone on whats going on as well as how big Bubba is getting. We had an awesome Memorial Day weekend, and went to Las Vegas to visit with my family it was fun! We took Bubba to Caesar's Palace to see the show in the Forum shops he loved it and started his new word of (OOOO) well its not really a word just a sound but it is so cute. He is also eating cereal now, we have started him on in and he loves it we cant get it to his mouth fast enough. Work is good, and Shauna is graduating from her academy in a week and 2 days, were excited about that. We are going to a Dawn's wedding this weekend coming up and I know it will be a blast we are not taking Bubba though because it will be hot and he doesnt do so well in the heat, poor guy. Nothing else has really happened lately, just been really busy, I dont think my life as been this busy in a long time. I feel like all I do is go go go. I probably wont post again til after the weekend, unless of coarse Bubba laughs we are trying so hard to get him to laugh....we just want to hear his little voice. hehe Also he is now 13.4 lbs wooohooo and he is still doing about the same thing as the last time I posted not rolling over yet, he is however sleeping in his room the 2nd half of the night! ;o) Almost there to being in his own room ;o)

What a weekend!! :o)

We had the best family weekend this past weekend! I love my family so much!! We went to our 1st BBQ at my work well many people saw Ethan for the 1st time and were touching him (mommy was kinda nervous bout that). It wasnt all that fun because it was way hot and lil bubba got so red from being hot and was fussy so we had to cool him off, then we decided ok its time to go. We then went to Toys R Us and looked for Ethan toys and a lil kiddie pool, didnt get one yet just was kinda looking around. We then invited ourselves to go swimming with Auntie Angela & Melody. It was so much fun!! It was Ethans 1st trip in the pool, he loved it after he had a full tummy. Mommy put like a gallon of sun screen on him and still made him swim in the shade lol, my little white baby! Mama had fun with him in the water too, bouncing him up and down. He then decided he was tired to he went to sleep in his carseat while mommies played w/ his cousin in the pool. Later that night he was so hot so he got to lay naked with mama on the love sac at Melody's house while watched a movie! He is just the best lil man ever. Sunday was a lazy day and we just layed around watching tv, doing alittle cleaning, and just hanging out. Sometimes thats my favorite time as well, because I can just lounge around and be lazy. Mommies love our little man!! Sometimes I get alittle sad when we take family pics because I feel like someone is missing, but I know hes in the pictures as well we just cant see him ;o) Love you Evan! p.s. As of last week Ethan was 12.6 lbs, he is smiling all the time and cooing. He can roll over from tummy to back, and can scoot from the bottom of his crib to the top if he gets mad lol. He also is eating about 5-6oz at a feed, and is sleeping 5-7 hours at night before feed time again. Hes getting to be such a big boy! Now were just waiting to here him laugh, and roll over completely.

My 1st Mommy's Day!

My 1st Mommy's Day was GREAT!!! We went to Shauna's parents house and had a BBQ with them, Angela, Mike, Taylor, & Shauna's Grandma Connie. I got my 1st mommy's day card from Ethan & Mommy Shauna as well as from the Pikes & the Williams family. I also got a few shirts from Lorrie(Shauna's mom) It was a very fun relaxing day, Bubba was very good and let mommies relax, its kinda hard to have mommy's day when we are both mommies and both want to relax lol. We are now looking forward to going to Dawn & Donald's wedding in Laughlin as well as Shauna graduating from her academy on June 6th. Bubba & I will be attending that and taking pics as well. Mommy hood is so awesome and I just love my handsome boy so so much! Here are a few pics from that night as well!! We also plan to take family pics soon in the next 2-3 weeks. ;o) It was alittle hard not having my baby Evan to celebrate with mommy, but I know when I woke up he came down and gave me kisses and made my day wonderful. Mommy loves both of my handsome lil men!!!

Its been awhile....

I havent posted in a while, Ive been really busy with getting stuff situated at the new house, trying to get bubba on a schedule and just plan tired most of the time. The family is doing awesome! Ethan is getting big, havent weighed him in a couple weeks but I bet he is over 12 lbs now. He is now wearing 0-3 months and he has so many cute clothes I wish I could play dress up with him hehe. Shauna is doing good, school is almost over and work is doing good as well. Ive been working and maintaining the household. We are going over to Shauna's moms house for my VERY 1ST MOTHER'S DAY!!! Im so happy to be a mommy it is the very best feeling in the world, when he looks over at me and just smiles and when he wants to cuddle with me when hes sleepy. I love my life, I dont have much else to post. Ive been having some rough days missing Evan and I have my crying moments but nothing more than what I expect. I miss my son so much!! Well thats about all I have right now, here are some more updated pics of Ethan, enjoy!!
