Camp-out Sunday

This past Sunday we created camp-out night in Ethan's room. We hung sheets from the ceiling & walls to create a giant tent, blew up the air mattress, made Ethan a sleeping bag, and brought snacks. It was so much fun, like we were all little kids again. :-) Ethan pretended like the night light was our fire and I put marshmallows on a skewer stick lol, Ethan thought it was the greatest invention ever! He picked the movie, Fox & the Hound, got our snacks out & drinks and started our movie. By midnight we were ready to go to bed in our own bed lol because the air mattress isn't the most comfortable bed of all which Ethan was a little upset that we weren't sleeping under the tent, but overall I know that Ethan had the time of his life! The whole idea started with Shauna getting a pen & paper and wrote...CAMP OUT and I'm so glad she did, we had such a blast and it will for sure be a night full of memories we will never forget and of coarse I took pictures. ;o)

♥ Day at the Park ♥

Today was mommy & Ethan day so we decided to make the most of it....off to the park we went!! There is a very nice park that is pretty clean and maintained about 15 minutes away from here called Hesperia Lakes and that was our destination, we had in hand a blanket, drinks, lunch, snacks, bread for the ducks, and of coarse mommy's camera. We were there for about 2 1/2- 3 hrs and had such an amazing time together! We had a picnic next to the creek while the ducks quacked around us, we then chased the ducks...well Ethan chased I watched lol, alittle playing at the park, splashing in the water, and feeding the ducks which decided to chase us down any time we were near the geese, ya that was pretty exciting lol Ethan screaming "Mommy, that mean ones coming to get us!" freaking hilarious and scary at the same time ;o) I wish Ethan & I had more days like this, just being happy, laughing, and playing it truly was a very eventful memory that will never leave my mind. He thought it was hilarious to chase the ducks, wanted to pet every dog he saw which by the way mommy said no every time lol, and he wanted to test the waters and go further saying "Is this deep, mom?" In all it was a wonderful, amazing, great day!!!! I love being a mom more than anything in the world and I wouldn't change anything about it. He is my pride and joy, my soul, and my everything!!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL!! ♥

Family Time

Last night we tried to play a board game for the first time as a family, Candyland and it surprisingly it went very well. Ethan actually won and we didn't even let him win it was all on his own lol. We tried to play again and after about 10 minutes we could tell Ethan was getting bored so it looks like 1 game at a time lol he still have very short patients. :o)

Today, Ethan saw a commercial for Chuckee Cheese and asked me if he could go there, we decided to go to John's Incredible Pizza instead because it is cleaner and less hectic. Pizza and games were a blast and it was a very nice family outing. I enjoy all of our family time together and love them to pieces!!

He freaking loves this ride....

A little fun in the sun before summer is over.....

and of coarse bathtime.....

Los Angeles Zoo

Grandma Lorrie & Papa took Ethan and Taylor, his cousin, to the LA Zoo this past Saturday, and this was Ethan's first trip to the zoo ever! I was pretty sad that we weren't taking him to the zoo for the first time however I know he had a blast and I made sure to send grandma with a fully charged camera with an empty memory card lol The night before we made Ethan go to bed early and about an hour and a half later he was still awake because he was so excited and just wanted it to be morning so he could go. They went pretty early to the zoo and didn't actually leave til almost 6 and got home at almost 9pm so I know they had an amazing time. Ethan's favorite part was the Hippos, he had a hilarious story about how the Hippo pooped in his water and it turned green lol of coarse my kiddo would remember the poop part the most hahaha He apparently kept asking to go back to see the Hippos every time they went to another animal because he loved the Hippo. He was a very good boy and I'm glad he had a great time!! I'm sure the next time he goes to the zoo we will be going also but I'm glad his first time was so enjoyable with his grandma & papa.

It's about the little things in LIFE!

Sometimes we have to sit back and enjoy the little things in our life that make us whole. Shauna & I have such a great relationship and just complete each other and whether we are having a serious moment or being goofy we always know how to be there for each other!! I'm glad I found my soul mate and that we have such an amazing little family. Yesterday, Shauna and I had a date day and it really didn't consist of much because we wanted to just enjoy each others company but we did manage to go to lunch at Red Lobster because its Endless Shrimp time woohoo they are so yummy and delicious, then while hanging out at home watching TV on the coach we thought to ourselves........lets go some where so up we jumped got dressed and headed up the back road to Silverwood and stopped at this amazing little spot that overlooked a part of the lake but also the dessert. We got up there as the sun was going down and got some amazing pics, hung out looking at the stars, listening to the crickets chirp, and enjoying the peace and quiet!! I realized that OMG I love being out in the wilderness seeing all the amazing cluster of stars that we normally cant see. I was able to see 2 shooting stars and Shauna saw one on our drive back down...things always come in 3's and I say 3 shooting stars is a pretty special thing :o) The day/night was a very relaxing time for us and I just cant thank her enough for making my life whole!
