Well lets see 31 weeks has proven itself to be quite interesting and not so much in a good way. The first half of the week had been going smoothly and then Wednesday I got hit with a head cold that has attacked like no other. Up until this point I have managed to keep myself well and germ free for the entire pregnancy until now :( My head cold has managed to give me the sniffles, stuffy and runny nose as well as a sore throat and an ear ache. I have been googling and asking people about different home remedies and have found quite a few that have managed to help like honey/lemon tea as well as Vicks on my chest and feet and some vinegar in my ears to kill bacteria. I seem to be feeling a tiny bit better but it still seems to be lingering around and I know that it will take some time for it to actually go away. McKenzie has been kicking like crazy still and we have an appointment on Monday for our 32 week checkup. I also found out today that I have FINALLY been approved for my referral to see the specialist which my appointment isn't until March 4th where Ill be 34 weeks but at least Ill be able to see him at least once or twice before she is born and can be monitored alittle more knowing that the last few weeks she will be under extra care. Yay for more appointments and being able to see McKenzie more on ultrasound :)

Happy Birthday to Me!!
McKenzie in 3D
We got to see our princess in 3D!! The shots that we got of her were very good and we were able to see so much of her face. She did keep her little hand and arm above her face and across her face so we couldn't get much of a full face picture but it was priceless to see her and to see how much she looks like her brother! She had her eyes closed the entire time which was good cause I think it would be weird to see them open, she opened her mouth a few times and she was being very modest about what was between her legs so we hope that she is still a girl lol The whole family except for Mike got to go with us so they could see her also, Mike had to work unfortunately so he saw her pictures on Facebook. I cant believe that in 9 short weeks we will be able to see her pretty little face and see exactly how close she actually looked to her 3D pics!!!
Big Brother Class
I looked into several classes that our hospital, St. Mary's, offered and while I was looking into a breastfeeding class I came across another class that was called Big Brother/Big Sister Sibling Class so I asked Ethan if he would be interested in going to a big brother class that teaches him how to help mommy when he can and about new babies. He of coarse said yes so I booked us the class. The class was during the day so Shauna couldn't come with us, which made us sad but I made sure to send her pics of the class. The class was very informative for him and he had a blast. They made sure to invite all the kids over to the middle of the floor and left the parents out of the class since it was about them and not us. The instructor asked the kids many different questions about how to hold baby, how to help mommy, what to give the baby, and if they pick up the baby with or without moms help. He learned how to put a clean diaper on a baby as well as how to wrap the baby up like a burrito. I loved the class for him and would recommend it to any other mommies who want their child to feel involved in the new baby's arrival ;)

McKenzie's Room
We have been trying to get McKenzie's room organized and decorated. We started out with a darker color that once we put it on the wall it looked very orangish and we did not like it what so ever. So we decided we would wait a week or so and get some sample paints and then decide instead of buying a whole gallon of paint that we wont like. I also had a few colors in the garage that I wanted to sample to see those also, well it happened to work out perfect because there was a whole gallon of paint that we hadn't used before and once we saw it on the wall it was perfect. We began painting but we waned to do it slowly because I can only do so much and Shauna works 5 days a week so she wanted to do it at a slow pace. It took us 6 different days not all in a row, to get around to finishing everything but it looks so good and I'm so excited to continue with the decorating process.
I also went to the local hobby stores and bought some things to make for her decorations in her room so they match her bedding set and since it was things that I really couldn't buy I needed to custom make them, so off I went. I still have a few additional products to make and once her room is 100% complete Ill do some additional pictures so I can showcase everything! :)

30 weeks
30 weeks is ending tomorrow and I will be venturing into the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy. I cant believe that in 8 short weeks we will be holding our little miracle princess. Being able to feel her roll, kick, and punch is the most amazing feeling ever. This past week Shauna has gotten less weired out by her movements and wanting to feel her more, as well as Ethan usually likes to feel her daily. I still am sleeping pretty well and for the most part I'm still on my belly with one leg up while sleeping. Its getting a lot harder to bend over and do things as well as going to the bathroom numerous times a day isn't much fun but I wouldn't trade it for the world. This week we had a few fun things and exciting things that we completed (see additional posts for those) Overall I am just enjoying being pregnant and I don't want it to be over. The 30th week has been good to me :)
30 week Dr check up
Since we are now on Dr appts every 2 weeks it is already now time to go back to the Dr and see McKenzie and how she has grown. The Dr was pleased to see that my urine was so clear and my blood pressure was very good. I gained another 3 lbs but at this point I don't even mind I just want to make sure shes a healthy baby when shes born. During the ultrasound the Dr measures her head, belly, and femur to see the apprx size of her currently. She is now measuring at 32 weeks, which is 2 weeks ahead of where she should be and she is over 4 lbs already!! Now the ultrasound can be off by about 7 oz plus or minus but the Dr is thinking she will be around 8 lbs if she stays on til 39 weeks which is what we are hoping for. After hearing how big she might be I contacted my grandma, mom, and aunt to see how big our whole family has been and pretty much my cousin was the smallest at 7 lbs 4 oz and me second at 7 lbs 11 oz the largest is almost 10 lbs!!! So I'm expecting her to be a nice healthy chunky baby :) Next appt is in 2 weeks!!!
Bacon Mania!!
Bacon Mania Food Truck is one of our absolute favorite food trucks in California, so when they say they are going to be closer to us than Orange County or Los Angeles we have to go see them. They were going to be about 45 minutes from our house in Rancho Cucamongo so we had to check them out last weekend! While there we also had some tornado potato which is a really big potato fried and seasoned its so yummy, then at Bacon Mania we had bacon/angus sliders, bacon wrapped peanut butter and jelly, and bacon wrapped macaroni and cheese. I of coarse stayed away from the mac & cheese because of the dairy issue but Shauna enjoyed them :) The food was super delicious and afterward we went to get me some maternity pants since we were down by the maternity store. Great day as long as you have BACON!!!
29 weeks
This week has been pretty boring, which is good lol nothing really happening besides that I get to feel little miss all the time. She seems to be rolling more and more but she still can give me a mean kick from time to time. Ive been relaxing as much as I can and just doing a lot of small stuff around the house but relying on Shauna to do a lot of it. Overall nothing really exciting has happened this week :)
