Happy New Year's Eve

This New Years Eve I have to say was one of the boringest New Years we have had lol I have been in a lot of pain because of my neck and shoulder so I wasn't in the mood to go to dinner or do much of anything. I did manage to watch the rockin eve with my loves and we rang in the new year together, gave each other kisses, and then went and cuddled in the bed :o)

Christmas 2011

Christmas has come and gone but oh what fun it was!! Christmas eve we all just sat around talking, playing with the bubba as Taylor wasn't there yet, eat TONS & TONS of food and even let the kiddos open a present for our Christmas Eve tradition. The kids then went to bed around 10pm which meant "Here comes Santa Claus" I started getting everything together and all set up, packed his stocking so full it could have burst, took a few pics of it all then sat down to relax on the couch. We went to bed pretty early which was a good thing because between the quietness of the bedroom, the street light shinning in the room, and the hermit crab that decided to wake up at 1am lol lets just say we had a long night. Ethan woke up at a whooping 645am went around making sure everyone was awake and down we went......Ethan was SOOOO happy to see that Santa got him the Optimus Prime he had been asking for and then about 5 minutes later he was ready to open gifts lol We all got awesome gifts and I was very thankful that everyone was together. Breakfast was AMAZING as usual and we all were stuffed. Christmas day consisted of the kids playing with their new things, all of us adults being lazy drinking mimosas and watching TV. I also had to transform his Optimus Prime into a truck which took me over an hour to do and all for him to say after his nap that he wanted it back to Optimus Prime lol I think his Rescue Bots & Leap pad would have to be the 2 best gifts he plays with on a regular basis. Overall we had a great Christmas and I hope everyone else's Christmas was as Merry as mine. ♥
Christmas Eve

I also made snowglobes with Ethan to give to the whole family, it took a lot of time but Ethan and I managed to get them all done and gave them to everyone on Christmas Eve......

Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Today has already been a busy and hectic day and its not even noon :o) but I love it!! Last night Ethan and I made Gingerbread cookies for Santa and decorated them, I also made a Peppermint Cheesecake which is by the way my very 1st cheesecake! It called for a 9in springform pan and all I had was a 10in so its smaller than it should be but looks really good. I also made cupcakes this morning with holiday funfetti. I cant wait to head over to Mike & Angela's house and start our Christmas Eve traditions. We always eat finger foods and appetizers on Christmas Eve then do a big breakfast on Christmas morning, well probably watch a movie tonight, maybe play a game, and let the kids open 1 present and of coarse play Santa!!! Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas with all their loved ones and Ill be sure to post about ours in the next couple of days :o)

Gingerbread Houses

My niece, Taylor, came over after school to do Gingerbread houses with Ethan on Tuesday and it was so cute as usual. Shauna brought up a good point that one of these days shes going to be to grown up to come to gingerbread houses cause every year since Ethan could they have, so that made me sad thinking shes growing up to fast but anyway back to crafts. Taylor opened her house up(we buy the reassembled houses) and BOOM down her house went. :o( apparently it had been cracked and was being held up by the wrapping because it was oh not so good once it was open however; Auntie Shauna came to the rescue and took her to Target to get another one so they could do their own houses. It was such a great family time watching them put candy on the houses and sneak little bites from time to time although I think more candy went into Ethan's mouth at first then it did on the house lol The houses turned out great, we have some crafty kids on our hands :o)

♥ Happy Birthday Ethan ♥

Today my boy turned 4 it seems like just yesterday we were picking out names and deciding on room decorations yet now hes a big boy!!! We had to explain that the day of his party was not actually his birthday and when he realized he got to have 2 days all about him he was super happy. We kept telling him that today was his special day and that we would do whatever he wanted to do, so of coarse playing in his room was a must! lol and then we told him that we'd take him out to lunch and that Auntie & Grandma were coming my kid picks...get ready for it......RED LOBSTER!! I know right, what does a 4 yr old know about Red Lobster...well apparently alot more than we thought he wanted the biscuits and to see the lobsters, he even got to touch one! We then came home and went for a family walk so he could take a ride in his Lightening Mcqueen again since this was the 1st nice day since his party. He still loves it and is getting use to knowing when to stop and when to turn around etc but overall hes doing real good. I love him so much and can not believe that he is actually a four year old now! Time flies so I better enjoy the next year and a half before he starts school at least that's alittle bit later than expected so he can stay my baby a little while longer ;o) HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!!!
