My toddler can open doors.....
EEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!! So I dont know if he has mastered all door yet however I do know that he can open at least 1 kind of door. Let me explain....the door knob that leads into our garage is the kind you pull down not turn, I was getting home got Ethan out of the car, went to ask him to help me with the laundry and he goes over to the door....reaches up.....and sure as shit opens the door!! I was like omg I cant believe you just did that, "Good Job baby!" I said to him, "Oh shit your in trouble now!!" I said to myself lol so lets just say that the garage will now forever be locked when Im home so I dont find my wonderinf toddler playing in the garage around the cars.
We found a new discovery of food he likes! Blueberries (fresh), top roman noodles, bagles w/ cream cheese and he will eat chicken nuggets again!! YAY!! However we have not cured the terrible almost two temper tantrums! They have gotten pretty bad and I hope they dont get any worse. Sometime Shauna & I are ready to pull our hair out and scream but we know it is just a stage. He now can say No, all gone, i do it, i get it, and probably a bunch more that I cant think about. I know this post is early but prob wont have any time the rest of the week or weekend cause my sister will be in town so i will not post again til next week. here are a few pics enjoy xoxo i hope you all got ur family pics. ;o) ♥

Wow, Im pretty sleepy!
Today I had to work because I had wed off so we could take family pics and have a family day. I had to wake up at 545am which is OMG way to early, I went to work looking like crap lol. Grandma Lorrie & Papa watched bub today for us. He was good for them and they played all day long also took 2 good long naps which is amazing because ever since we took his passy away nap times have been kinda hell. He is learning new words it seems like everyday and he is starting to try new foods so I introduce new things sometime to see if hell like it. He has quiet the little attitude still but Im trying to nip it in the butt now before he become horrible. I took a couple cute pics from tonight and a video that I will be putting up after this post.
I am super excited because my sister is coming into town next week for the whole weekend. I havent seen her since like May I believe was when she was out here last. Ethan has changed so much since she last saw him. I also get a 3 day weekend soon woohoo so excited about that I love to sit at home and hang out and still get paid its the best. Shauna's Grandma Sharon is coming out in a couple weeks I think and she will be overwhelmed with how much Ethan has changed. Also we have Angela's B-day coming up and Lorrie(Shauna's mom) we will be quiet the busy little family the next couple of weekends ;o) Nothin else is really going on so Ill go now. Posting pics and video so enjoy and have a great rest of your weeken. xoxo ♥

20 months today!
Ethan is 20 months old today, omg 4 more months and he'll be 2 yrs old......I think hes alreadyhittin teterrible two's now lol. We went and took family pics today in our Cowboys jerseys and soon realized that hes not a good picture taker anymore, he was horrible ;o( We had to stop and go get him some french fries in order to finish our photo session! The pictures turned out soooooo cute and to all the family that reads this blog you should bre getting yours in the mail in about 3-4 days they are going out in tomorrows mail. I amstill posting them on here as well though. Nothing new has changed just thought I'd inform everyone that I have a child who LOVES to throw temper tantrums when he gets mad or doesnt get what he wants and I just dont know what to do about it ;o( grrrrrrr....time to go watch tv with Shauna before bed. So I've been slacking....
Wow, it has been 14 days since my last post...sorry ;o( Things have been alittle hectic lately and we have been going through some rough times (see below) Lets just say this will probably be a long post lol.
1st off on Aug 3rd we found out that our Bff's nephew who is 2 yrs old drowned and had past away. Our best friens help raise this little boy and we all grew to love him very much he was such a cutie... this day was rather hard to deal with.... the funeral was this past thurs and it was by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!! other than loosing my own son. ;o( He was just laying there like he was going to wake up at any moment and start to play. He had a 4 yr old sister who gave him a kiss and touched his hands, I will never forget what she said after that. "Did you touch my brother's hands, they're cold!" Wow talk about a tear jerker for sure. All we kept doing was picturing Ethan because they are almost the same age. It was just horrible!! We went to Dawn's mom's house after that for dinner as well as over to thier house for dinner the night before the services. I never ever ever in my life time want to go to a childrens funeral again..... now on to more positive things...
Aug 4th was Shauna's 26th B-day ;o) We celebrated by going to Buffalo Wild Wings for a couple drinks. I also went to the Dr for my shoulder and pretty much got released to go back to full duty. I am still sore at times and I know when I overdue it but as far as letting it stop me from working I cant I kind of just have to bare with it and keep working. That weekend we didnt do much of anything besides just hang out around the house. This past week has kind of flown by...Shauna found out that her work is being sold to another company and could possibly be turning into a federal prison as well but still minimum security, dont have many details we will know more by Sept 1st when the people come in and talk to them.
This weekend we took Ethan to Seaworld with Mike, Angela, and Taylor. It was so much fun Ethan kept saying over and over, Whats that? I think his favorite parts were the sea lions cause he thought they barked like dogs lol and shamu he kept laughing and waving his hand to make shamu splash just like everyone else was doing. At times he was a little testing as any 2 yr old would be, we had to be patient with him and understand that all he wanted to do was walk around but I didnt want him to get lost. He also played in this little bounce area where only toddlers could play, and we went on the flying fish elmo ride. (pics to come) He did exteremly well for being there from 1030 til 715!! We then went back to thier hotel which was literally across the street, changed clothes into our bathing suits and took the kids night swimming. Ethan loved it, they had a walk in pool like how the beach is and he just loved running into the water alittle scary for mom, but totaly fun for him. He played in the sand as well. We then went back to the room got jammies on and went to bed for the night about 10ish pm so he went from 730am til 1000pm with only a 30min nap what a trooper ;o). The nest day(today, sunday) we got the kiddos ready packed everything up and headed to the pool, he played in the water, in the sand and lounged in the chair. It was to cute. We had a long drive home, but are now home and relaxing. My home is clean, my blog and myspace are almost all updated, and Im getting ready to hit the sack and watch a movie before bed.
Nothing much happening in the next week, probably just a relaxing week coming up, I have wed off so I work sat. Grandma lorrie is going to watch bub while I work at least I get off at 330 though which isnt that bad for a sat. We will be taking family pictures soon, so as soon as we take them we will be mailing them out to all the fam. ;o) I will try to stay more on top of the blog we have just had a crazy couple of weeks. Ok so Im not sure if time is flying by this year for everyone else but today is August 1st!! There is just 4 short months before Ethans 2 yr birthday and Christmas!! OMG where has the time gone. I guess when your running around non-stop being a full time working mom it does tend to come and go! Thank goodness Im a picture freak and constantly take pics otherwise I wouldnt even have nething to look back on. Shauna's b-day is in 3 days, not sure what we are doing for her but I know it will be something. Not much happened this week, Ethan started saying " Where'd it go" I swear this kid doesnt care to say 1 word things but loves to make a sentence. hahaha He now has 12 teeth and has 4 others that haven broken skin or are close to it( his canines) so once they come in he will have 16 teeth total. ;o) He is still just the best little boy in the world, I was extremely sick on tues with what I thought was food poisoning from Carls Jr.; I was so sick and nausious and he was the best perfect little angel for me not fussing or making it hard for me to care for him at all. My shoulder is still a bit sore and I think this week the Dr is going to put be back on the computer at work but probably part time because she doesnt want me to push it and end up sore again. im just worried that this is going to become something I have to deal with often and I dont want that Im to young to have this much pain already. Shauna is still doing good, there is a possible swine flu outbreak at her prison so they have to wear masks around and the health department has been out there to check it out. I have a few goofy pics of Ethan I will upload, havent really went ne where to take ne other pics. Hope everyone has a good rest of thier weekend ;o) xoxo ♥
