About 6-8 months ago, Shauna & I sat down and decided that at this time in our life it was time for a change. That we were ready to make some life changing plans that we have been looking into for several years but just have been to scared to actually do anything about. We started looking into different states that we could focus on moving to because let's face it California and the city we live in are not suitable to raise our children any longer. The crime rates are horrible, the school systems are becoming less and less consistent and when the kids get to middle school we would be even more lost. Sooooo we decided on....ready for it......WASHINGTON!!! I began applying for jobs in February, we took a week trip out there to celebrate my 30th birthday and to take some testing for jobs, look at housing, and make some decisions. 5 months later it's now our reality! We are just 1 VERY short week away from packing up, loading our Penske truck, and hitting the road :) The school districts are award winning, Ethan's school is right next to our apartment, my job is about 30 minutes away, and everything overall is just coming to order! It's gorgeous out there and I can't wait to raise my beautiful family in such a beautiful place. :) The Williams Family is moving on up!!

Spa Day
I went to Glen Ivy for the first time with my friend last week and we had so much fun. I've never really been to a real spa so I was curious to see all that we would get to do. I put mud all over my body, spent time in mineral spas, regular pools, and had a grotto detox treatment. I can't wait to have more spa days!!! I think it might be our new plan any time we are in town together.
Vegas Trip
It was about time for a Grandma Sue visit this past May so we packed up the kids and Star and made our way out to Vegas to see Grandma. She is always so thrilled to see them and excited to be able to spend time with them. We hung out spent time at time pool and just kind of relaxed, it was nice!
County Fair
Every year since Shauna and I started dating we have been going to the San Bernardino County Fair and this year was no different. Ethan is such the little dare devil wanting to go on so many rides all of which scare me like crazy! Kenz on the other hand wanted nothing to do with them and she rod on 1 little airplane and that was enough for her lol Grandma Lorrie and Papa Bob came and met us to see all the animals and to listen to music. It was a great family time and we had a blast!
Forever Friends
If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would travel to Vegas and meet up with 10 "complete strangers" that I've never met before for a girls weekend I would have told you that you were crazy! However, I have formed a forever bond with approximately 30+ women that I will forever cherish and will continue to get closer to as time goes on. We all meet in 2012 pregnant with our soon to be April 2013 babies. We discussed things from backaches to "Am I in labor?" and now almost 3 years later we come to each other for daily advice, weight-loss encouragement, family questions, and now toddler fun including potty training and "Why won't by daughter eat meals?" We planned a mommy meet up about a year ago for many of us to come together in Las Vegas this May 2015 and I'm so glad I was a part of it. I am sad that not everyone was able to come and I hope that our next meet up will include many more, however, it was like we have know each other "in real life" all along! As each new person came and met up with us we started conversations that began online and never skipped a beat. These girls were my family! They have been there for me during my weakest time, getting me through the loss of my dad, and so much more!!! I could never picture my life without them and their kids in it and I hope that one day I get the joy of meeting everyone!! #aprilmommies2013 #momcation
