Ethan's September Update

Since our last update things have changed quite a bit in terms of things going on in out lives however little man has continued to thrive and just keep going with the flow. He is extremely happy that he is going to be a big brother he loves to kiss my tummy and rub it, he also will tell me if I'm doing something he thinks the baby doesn't like or eating something he thinks the baby doesn't want to eat lol He is very excited that his birthday and Christmas are coming up he keeps asking about them and when they will be here :) A few weekends ago his Papa took him, me, and Shauna to his 1st professional baseball Angels game!! He was so happy that we were real close and that he got popcorn, snacks, and cotton candy for the first time ever. Yes that's right mommy hasn't let him have cotton candy until just now hehe He watched and hung out with us all the way until the 6th inning then I think he got bored he wanted to play on my phone and watch movies. Overall he did an awesome job and was a very very good boy!!

 We also took him to his first ever drive in movie to see Paranorman which was a pretty good movie, he thought it was cool to sit in the back of the car eat snacks and watch a movie and this past weekend we took him to see Finding Nemo in 3D which was fun!

Lets just say my little man is spoiled and likes that his mommies take him everywhere lol.This weekend coming up he is going with his Grandma Lorrie and Papa to his Papa's work where there will be face painting, a petting zoo, and a bounce house. He should have a lot of fun. I am enjoying my time with him while I'm off work and I'm going to be extremely sad to leave him once I go back to work in November, but in the mean time I am just enjoying every moment with him. We haven't done workbooks much mommy's been a little bit of a slacker feeling sick and all, but we will be picking it back up asap! Thru bubba's eyes-

1st Doctors Appointment

Monday, September 10th we had our very first doctors appointment to see the baby for the first time and make sure everything is going good. The appointment was quite routine asking me all my previous history with the boys pregnancy and all my conditions I had with them as well as the annual exam, blood work, etc. Then came the most exciting moment seeing the baby! She did a transvaginal ultrasound because at 8 weeks she would be able to get a better look at baby rather than over my tummy. She found the baby within seconds moving well twitching around in there. :) It was the best feeling in my heart all over again! She measured him/her from rump to head and he/she measured exactly 8 weeks which was perfect because I was exactly 8 weeks on that day, Every Monday I change weeks just like before with the boys :) She gave us a few pictures then we got to hear the heartbeat and Shauna even asked if we could hear it again after the 1st time, it was such an amazing sound to hear. That there is this little person inside thriving on my every move and was just as innocent as ever could be. The heart rate was 167 bpm which is pretty high so if we follow the old wives tales it says its a girl hehe I'm hoping hoping! My next appointment is in 4 weeks Oct 8th and we are going to an ultrasound place in a week just to see the little one again.

We also told all friends, family and anyone involved in our lives that we are pregnant. They all found out last night so we dont have to keep secrets anymore yay!!
