76 Degrees in February, I think so!!!

I woke up this morning as I do every morning walking over to all the blinds and opening then to bring light into the house and then open the slider to let Star out to go potty, well today when I let her out it felt pretty amazing outside so i had to see for myself. I went outside while she did her duties, let bubba come out and see how he reacted and realized that it was going to be a beautiful day. I told Ethan that we would take a family trip to the park since it was so nice and get alittle sun! The sun felt wonderful and was so nice, the wind was only blowing slightly and there was tons of little kids Ethan's age playing at the playground. He of coarse met a friend and then another and they proceeded to play for quite some time. We then noticed his little cheeks were getting ready, yea mommy forgot sunscreen, so we told him that we needed to go home and get him some sunscreen and then he can go around the block on his Lightening Mcqueen. Once we arrived at home Shauna & Star hung out in the front yard while Ethan and I went for a little walk around the block realizing that the sun was hot lol we decided that when we got home we would play in the backyard now because the house has now shaded most of the yard so its not as warm....yea complaining about 76 degrees what are we going to do this summer eeekkkk anyways Ethan played for a bit, I had a beer since it felt necessary on such a gorgeous day, we cleaned off our BBQ, saw some lizards, and had our first BBQ of the year- sliders!!! YUMMY!!!! Today was a very enjoyable family day and I wish every day could be like this hehe....

and to the end the night we had a nice bath and found ourselves a new sheriff in town, Sheriff Ethan!!!

♥ The Ellen Show ♥

Today was an amazing day as you can see we got to go see Ellen down in Burbank, CA at the Warner Bros. Studios. This was our 2nd time being able to see her and just like last time it was myself, Shauna, and Lorrie that went while Angela had a date day with Ethan. The waiting process to actually see the show start is quite long however it did go by alittle faster than the first time because we knew what to expect. While we were waiting I swore that I saw Tara Reid walking out to her car from the studios and then again driving away in a white sportier Mercedes, I'm sure it was her but, NO I didn't snap a picture. :o( Any who we got our numbers and then went into the RifRaf room where we wait to be seated which is another long wait lol Once we got in is when it gets fun, they did however sit us over in the corner which kinda sucked camera wise but was easier to see Ellen and her guests. She gave a very sweet family who's mom was dying of Cancer a $30,000 check from Sara Lee to help with her kids college, a tear jerker for sure. Then our celebrity guest was JENNIFER ANISTON!!! She is even more beautiful in person than on any magazine or movie Ive seen her in, she is so skinny to but in a cute way :o) She even had a little bit of a foul mouth which was nice to see hehe. They did a hidden camera skit where she had to wear an ear piece and say whatever Ellen told her to say, was freaking hilarious. Here it is from the show:

We also got to see a husband and wife roller skate act from Las Vegas called "The Skating Aratas" it was so cool yet so scary looking, it looked like the chick was inches away from having her head banged on the side of the circle. Here is a clip from the show today:

We didn't however win anything, booooo but the experience in itself is still a blast to have. On the way out we were waiting to cross the street to go back over to the parking garage and they were holding up traffic then all of a sudden I see Tony (Ellen's DJ) driving out in a Porsche and the seconds later Ellen pulls out in her black Porsche which didn't even have a license plate, waved to us and then headed in the opposite direction. We took a pic of the back of the car couldn't snap it quick enough to get her in it, guess we cant be paparazzi lol Afterward we went to Universal City Walk for dinner at Bubba Gumps our favorite restaurant and it was Lorries first time trying it! Of coarse I had to show you our debut as well!......

Overall we had a spectacular day and even though we missed little man he had an eventful day with his Auntie Angela as well. He went to Barnes and Noble and played with the trains, he made wishes in the water at the mall, he had a lunch date with Uncle Mike and Auntie at Mcdonalds in the mall and even got them to sit in the little kids chairs, then her went to pick up his cousin from school, went to Michaels, and then last but not least went to John's Incredible Pizza with everyone and had pizza and played games! He is such a spoiled little man but I love it. Here he is playing with the trains....

Colorado Roadtrip

In the almost 8 years that Shauna and I have been together we have never been on a significant roadtrip which required travel times of over 3-4 hours sooooooo with that being said this coming up March we are treating ourselves as well as Ethan and Star Bar to a roadtrip we will never forget. I have always wanted to go somewhere in the snow as well as Ive been told numerous times about how gorgeous it is in Colorado, therefore we are taking a 7 day vacation and hitting the road from our home city to the Rocky Mountains :o) Denver, CO!!!! We are of course renting an SUV with 4x4 in case we need it for the steep inclines of the mountains or the snow terrain along the way. We plan to drive straight out there sharing turns as much as we can while making minor stops along the way- see below for itinerary. It will be a fun getaway for us and I am beyond excited to see Ethan and Stars face when they see how much snow is out there and play in it. We have been toying with the idea of moving out there so the trip will not only be for pleasure but will also consist of us looking at houses and different areas of the Denver Metro area but overall is going to be used as a vacation we have never been given the chance to have!!! I have put together a list of all the goodies we need on our roadtrip as well as things we will need once we are out there. Ethan got a sweet snow suit and some snow boots mainly because I know he will play in it more than we will and I want him to be warm!!! The trip is a few weeks away and I know as it gets closer to the day we will get more and more excited about our adventure. I will for sure be blogging about it when we return but no computer or blogging while were there :o) cell phones and facebook will still be a must lol Here's a little sneak peek at our plans.......I CANT WAIT!!!!!!
