Weekend is coming

Well I am off work until Tues woohooo, a 4 day weekend w/ my Bubba & family. We are leaving for Big Bear tomorrow so I figured I better write today. Ethan is doing so good rolling over now, I found him sleeping on his tummy in his crib today lol see pic below I was alittle scared at 1st but he does good. No more on the couch by himself. ;o( darn it those were the good days jk. He also is doing alot better sitting up still falls over and likes to be on his hands but hes doing good. I am so proud of him, his standing is getting less wobbly too. ;o) yeah!!!! I dont have much else that is going on right now, I will have new pics from Big Bear Im sure but other than that not much has been happening, I need to go shower so we can get started with our day. Some things I need to get off my chest....

Ok, before I being to go on and on about my feeling I need to bring everyone up to speed. Our Best Friends have been trying to get pregnant for over 3 years now, and have experienced 3 or more miscarriages and at least 2 tubal pregnancies. This time however was different, she was able to get pregnant and she is now 22 weeks 5 days ;o) We are completely estatic and happy for them and could not be more thrilled that she has made it this far and they are going to have a baby by the end of this year. Now, mind you these friends have also been there for us going through the death of Evan and seeing us day after day going to the hospital to see Ethan.......now on to my vent and major concerns!!! I dont think I would be so upset if I didnt care so much and Im reliving my prengnacy all over again every time I think of her, and here is why......

Like I said she is now 22 wks 5 days, and has just been taking off work because she is having minor contractions they are not affecting her cervix however they are enough for the Dr to be worried about and tell her to REST as mush cas possible and no more work. She is now taking the same medication I was on when I was 20 wks pregnant and I started having contractions. She has also been referred to the Specialist, that let my precious Evan die. As soon as I found out I have been so scared for her because she still has a week and a half before the vital week and even then its like a 50/50 chance of survival. With this being said, I wrote her a text and said I couldnt believe what is happening but the good news is that some woman can go til 40wks on those meds, but you need to take it easy, drink lots of water, not alot of walking, and start drinking the boost protein drinks to help Brett(the baby's name) grow faster. She listened to us of coarse but now is going to go to Soak City tomorrow and my heart is just broken. Soak City is an amusement park that will require lots of walking and its suppose to be in the 100's tomorrow. I DONT understand why someone who has seen all that we have went thru and been there for us and everything that she has gone thru herself, would even right going. I know she doesnt want to make her 6 yr old son sad because they cant go but if shes already having contractions I think it needs to be taken very very serious and if it were me I wouldnt be moving much at all besides from the bed to the couch. Im just so upset that they would even consider it at take that chance to put Brett in harm. I know its not me and I cant do anything but give my opinion and I know it wont be our fault if something does happen....but WHY wouldnt you listen to us!! Why wouldnt you think about your unborn child before thinking of anyone else in this WORLD!!! I just dont even know what to say to them anymore besides ok have fun and to check on her every once in a while to make sure shes ok. I JUST DONT GET IT.

Well thank you for letting me vent, and also keep them in your thoughts and prayers we need to get her to at least the 30 wks in ordr to try to minimized all the complications. Just because Ethan didnt have very many health problems doesnt mean every baby is like that, many ARE NOT!!! Well good night thanks for listening again!!

Hectic week!

Well since my last post I have been so busy, Shauna's grandma Sharon came into town, and we've been having lots of family days plus working and everything so Im pretty much exhausted. But on the good side, tomorrow is friday and Ill have weekend off!! WOOHOO Ethan has now learned how to spit, which means he spits his food all over mommy when Im trying to feed him. Its not fun ;o( but its so funny sometimes. He is also so so close to rolling over, he gets like 85% of the way there and gets mad cause his other arm is under him. He can sit alittle better supported on his arms, and just keeps growing and growing it makes me sad! He use to be so little and you would never even know now.

I do want to take a moment to pray from Shauna's great grandma (god-bless her) and also pray for our best friends who are 22wks prego and are having contractions already, May God be with them and my Precious Angel Evan watch over them in this time of need.

I am going to post some cute pics, now Im sure I will have to post like 2 times because I have so many lol. I also have a video that is so cute that I am going to try to upload.....lets see if it works.I hopefully will be posting a little more, but my life just wont slow down even for a minute. Family Fun time!!

This past weekend was pretty much family time, because on Saturday we watched the UFC fight at Angela & Mike's house w/ Shauna's parents as well, then sunday was super fun. We went to Mike's dads house and swam by the pool all day, bubba learned how to splash it was so cute & he just had a blast playing in the water. I did get very burnt as well as the rest of the family except bub he was well protected. Shauna went down the slide into the deep end which if you know us that is awesome, and we just really had an all around fun time. Ethan is trying so hard to roll over from back to belly. He did it 1 time at Angela's house on Sat but hasnt done it since, and I am starting to make him hold his own 4 oz bottle and kinda play with it to learn how to use it himself. He also is getting really good at standing up while holding on to our fingers, its so cute. Shauna's grandma Sharon is coming to town so I know she is super excited to see Ethan the last time she seen him was the day he came home from the hospital, he is now 14lbs + heavier lol. Been awhile again...

So as all of you can see Ive been extremely busy these past couple weeks and havent had a moment to myself until now. Things have been going good, Ethan is still growing and getting as big as ever. He is now wearing 6-9 mon sleepers and onsies and is still in 3-6 mon outfits. He now has a menu of foods that he is able to eat from, bananas, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, chicken noodle, and so much more. He loves them all except green beans hes not to fond of them but mommy makes him eat them anyway. I feel so bad for not posting more but I just run out of time each day. He is still 18lbs so I think my scale is lying to me lol. He definately feels so much heavier than that. He still cant sit up but is trying, he has mastered babbling & gaga's though. He is constantly talking and making all kinds of noise especially in the morning when mommy is trying to sleep lol still sleeping thru the night thank goodness and coming closer and closer to getting teeth I think. Shauna's B-day at Universal Studios was so much fun as well as Angela's toga party....pics to follow. Nothing new happening for the time being Im now excited and starting to think about Halloween, as well as Ethan's b-day and christmas ( I know its still far away but I want him to have a good b-day). On a good note Ive been doing rather well with my sad days and Evan. I still think of him each day as I always will but I havent had to bad of a day since my horrible one the last time I posted, but Im sure one is coming here soon ;o( its only a matter of time b4 bad days follow many good days. Working has been going very well, I met all my required numbers last month so Shauna & I get to go on a 500 shopping spree on my company's money woohooo. Most of it will be on Ethan because he needs some new big boy things, but some will go on us. It seems like we cant resist buying lil man things everytime we go to the store hehe. Ok well I need to go update my myspace as well so I will hopefully post sooner than later....Pics to follow this post night everyone!!
