"I love you, mommy!"
Being a mom is the best feeling in the entire world and no matter how crappy my day is or what happens at work i can come home and Ethan will put a big smile on my face. He has been great at saying "I love you, mommy" and "I miss you, mommy" which just melt my heart so much!! Nothing has really been happening lately. We got somef our new furniture and I love it the rest will be here April 6th. I also have been busy trying to plan our vacation in May we are very excited about it. Its been nice outside and Easter is right around the corner cant wait for more family time. I just love when we are able to get together with our friends and family and hang out. I am actually looking forward to Shauna not working anymore so we can go more places lol Here are a few pics of bub from this week enjoy!!

"I poop my pants".......
So as you can tell by the title, Ethan is talking now for the most part in full sentences. His daycare teacher seems to think he is pretty smart because she has some 2 yr olds that dont talk at all so i guess his preemie brain is going to be a smart one :) hehe He is getting so close to being potty trained we just dont want to actually start until Shauna is at home with him. The other night he walked up to me and siad "Show me (his way of saying come here), I poop my pants" and indeed he did poop his pants lmao but then when I asked him if he pooped he tells me "Nope". He is such a sweet heart and absolutely loves our new kitten "Abby" we got her from the barstow Humane Society and they are like best friends they will run around chasing each other and Ethan will just be cracking up laughing for hours! Its nice to see he has a playmate all the time at home lol. Also when I was really sick I felt so bad and just started crying, he walks over to me and says "wats wong mommy, y cryin" I told him I was sick and didnt feel good and he said "y sad" isnt he just the cutest little thing ever :) hehe
Tomorrow it is suppose to be very very nice outside so I plan to take him to the park and of coarse take new pictures. I did paint my kitchen last weekend and waiting on my bathroom. I am slowly spring cleaning but I thought this is the first nice weather we have had on a weekend and the first weekend I have felt almost 100% so Im not cleaning all day or painting Im going to take Ethan to the park and go shopping :) I am slowly spring cleaning and getting things organized. We treated ourselves to a new living room set, new dining table, and new california king bedroom set which will all be delivered on 3/24 and 4/6 so Im trying to have spring cleaning done by then.
Shauna's job is still scheduled to close in June however there is talk about it closing in May possibly so we will see. Also a big event has happened at my work resently. We are union workers (CWA Local 9573) and our contract expired on 3/13. Verizon is proposing a 5.25 pay cut, a reduction in holiday time, and to pay 200 in medical a month, as well as continue to outsource to Mexico and India all of our calls. Soooooo we are still bargaining but we had a strike vote (ex: a vote to see if we would be willing to strike if it came to that to get what we deserve) and over 90% of our union workers voted yes. Thats great ammo to take to the bargaining table to try to get closer to what we deserve. A quick rant....... we are the ones selling Verizon's products to have techs install and to have dispatch route the call and provisioning to make the service work, however they want us to take the paycut and put us on a sales plan when they are in control of our calls that we get and can determine what our sales quota is. To make a very long story short, we are the main line and shouldnt be treated like dirt. Ivan (our big wig) makes 71,000 a day!! OMG right thats alot of money that more than we make in 1 yr but they want to still take our money and medical. Anyway enough about that. I will keep everyone posted and please pray we dont strike but we get what we deserve. :)

Sickness strikes again :o(
Yes that is right, we got sick again. Ethan's Dr appt was on Feb 24th, which he was fine checked out all healthy. Friday morning Feb 26th he woke up with a fever by friday afternoon we were in urgent care because he had 102 temp and had goopey eyes. He had a sinus infection, ear infection, and throat infection :( then to make things worse I got sick by sat night and was at urgent care by 8pm sat night and Shauna was sick by sunday. So I missed 4 days of work, Shauna missed 4 days and Ethan missed 4 days of school. We got everyone healthy and then this past saturday i started feeling sick again.....so I missed Monday and today and went to the Dr. to get more medicine. I still feel sick but I am doing alot better, Shauna is slowly getting better and Ethan is healthy as of this very moment.
Ethan is doing great and keeps developing quiet the vocabulary. Its so cute when he learns new words, I just love it. He's doing really good learning to count and learn his colors. :) He dpesnt have another scheduled Dr. appointment until a year from now with his primary and his eye Dr. Its amazing to see how much a one pound preemie has grown and developed over the last 2 years. Im going to post a neat little picture on my next post to show how much he's grown :)
Shauna & I are also doing well. My work is the same nothing really changing. Shauna however will be a stay at home mommy coming this June because he facility is closing and laying off all of thier employees. At 1st I was quiet scared and mad, but now Im doong ok. It has changed our plans quiet a bit and we will no longer be trying to make Ethan a big brother anymore. At least until we know for sure she has another steady job lines up. She may end up staying home with Ethan for the next year or so depending. We also did finances and we will be ok alittle tighter than we are now but definately managable so Im not so worried anymore. Im kind of looking forward to being able to have family days, and family weekends, BBQ's and all the fun stuff we like to do :o) So we will see how that goes but so far there is nothing we can do about it so were not stressing and we are adapting to the new situation and lifestyle :o) We did do alittl3e showing with some extra money and treated ourselves to a few nice things before we have to be good so it feels nice to have extra money to treat ourselves from time to time. I go back to work tomorrow and off this weekend woohoo. I am painting the kitchen and bathroom a light brown color, should be fun with Ethan around too lol. Well I will see if I have any recent pics and post some as well as a look back at our little man ;o) Good night all xoxoxo ♥
