A moment in life....
Sometimes I forget, I forget about the good things in life that I have. The true meaning to happiness and why I love my life so much. Sometimes I let STRESS/WORK/MONEY/LIFE get in the way of my true happiness and the real meaning of why I'm here on this Earth and that's to be the best MOMMY & WIFE that I can be! The small things in life can only be measured by the memories I hold in my heart and although at times life if rough, hard, confusing, and a little chaotic it doesn't mean that the love, happiness, tender touch of a little hand, and smiles cant make all that seem so minuet. There's a very thin line between someone who is utterly happy and extremely unhappy, I choose to be on the happier side of life! I love everything about being a mommy and love every moment of being a wife I just need to remember on those rough days like today just how truly blessed I am to be alive, healthy, and loved!! I do it all for these two......

Memorial Day BBQ
This past weekend was an awesome one which included a 4 day weekend for me and a 3 day weekend for Shauna. Ethan loved having his mommies home again and we enjoyed it also. Friday & Saturday were just major lazy days that included lifetime movies and cuddling in the blankets. Shauna and I watched The Vow which was such a good movie but I wish it ended differently and then we got to the fun stuff. The family decided to have a BBQ at Mike & Angela's house on Sunday with lots and lots of yummy food. Carne Asada, Chicken, Salsa, Ceviche, and so much more as well as beer and margaritas! We played hillbilly golf(there's another name for it but I don't know it) Ethan played some bean bag toss and as we went into the night we even played a little 4-square with Taylor in the garage. It was a very fin day and I'm glad we all got together to enjoy a little family time!

San Bernardino Fair 2012
It's that time of year again where we all go to the County Fair, as Ethan gets older it gets funner and funner because he can actually ride on alot of the rides now. Most of the rides have a height limit of 42" and he is just slightly over 42" so he was able to go on some rides that I wouldn't even think of riding on lol Shauna is a trooper thou she got a wrist band also and rode alot of the rides that he couldn't ride alone on and since she likes the fair rides and going in circles I don't think she minded :o) When we first got there we went to see all the animals including pigs, goats, sheep, and cows as well as some exotic ones also like a kangaroo, honey badger, spiders, python, turtles, birds and many more. Ethan thought all the animals were pretty cool but was scared to touch all of them, he did however touch a pig on its back while it was sleeping lol scary pants boy Then it was time to eat, Yes we cheated and had fair food, it was so so good and since we have been good eating for so long I think it was far time that we deserved a once a year fair meal :o) Ethan was ready for rides by this point and went on a few by himself then Shauna and him went on a black widow ride that Shauna said was horrible lol and she wouldn't go on it again. There was this ride called Music Fest that spun around forward and backward super fast it looked so scary but that was one of Ethan's favorite rides as well as Tilt-a-wheel which him and Shauna loved equally. We ended the night with a yummy powder sugar funnel cake which was delicious! Another successful year at the fair, cant wait til next year!!

Santa Monica

Saturday night I felt like we should not just sit around the house but instead enjoy our weekends together since we both are back at work and actually go out and do family activites. I love Santa Monica and we have some really amazing memories there so I asked Babe to take us there. At first she didnt want to because its about an hr and 45 min drive but after alot of begging lol not literally she gave in and we wwere getting ready to head to Santa Monica. When we got there the 1st place we went was to the Santa Monica Pier
no I didnt take this pic but I wish I had. :o) The pier has all kinds of performers, people selling things, a few restaurants, and about 10 different rides and arcade games. Ethan has been here before but he was a little younger, so I knew he'd enjoy it more this time. We took a few pictures and walked the pier to watch the sunset, however the darn clouds only allowed us to see a partial sunset.

We then decided it was dinner time, the wait for Bubba Gumps
was about 45 minutes so we hung out watching waves, and Ethan wanted to sit on top of the dolphin. lol
Dinner was amazing as always at Bubba Gumps, it was now time to take a little walk over to 3rd St. Promenade
This is one of my 2nd favorite spots here because alot of the performers are actually quite good and there is this one lady we go see that is awesome her name is Amy May, here we are watching Amy May and this is Amy May...

after listening to her we walked along 3rd St. alittle longer and stopped to check out the Laker game for a moment as they lost.

at this point it was around 1030 and all the performers had pretty much gone home, so we walked back to the pier so Ethan could ride a few rides. Last time we were there he was barely tall enough to ride a few by himself and the others we had to go with him however this time he was tall enough to ride all the rides himself and he was even tall enough to go on the roller coaster but that was to scary for mommy. lol He got to ride on 4 rides of his choice and had an absolute blast.

Outdoor Adventure
This past Saturday we had the bug man coming out to our house to spray and when that happens we have to leave for about 2-4 hours so the smell of the bug spray can leave the house so its not toxic to us. So with that being said we decided to go on a family outdoor trip which usually doesn't happen because Shauna's not much of an outdoor person lol but she agreed :o) Ethan, Shauna, Star & I all hoped in the car and hit the road. We originally just had plans to go to Hesperia Lakes but on the way we thought it would be cool to take Ethan up to Silverwood Lake for him to see the lake and the place that babe takes his mommy on our dates! He got to see the boats on the water and as they went by he waved at them with them waving back. He tried to throw rocks into the water which didn't make it lol and he climbed on the large rocks. He thought it was pretty cool. It was hot up there though even thou the altitude was higher it was still hot.

After Silverwood we then went to Hesperia Lakes where Star and Ethan had an absolute ball! The park has a huge creek that flows thru the entire park and eventually goes to the lake there but we stay near the creek side. Ethan wore his swim trunks and knew he was going to be playing in the water. Star also thought it would be fun to play in the water. Mommy got in the water as well and it felt pretty good. We stayed at that park for almost 2 hours and unless Star was direct sunlight she actually felt very cool and happy. Ethan got to feed the ducks and played on the playground for a while as well. It was a great outdoor family day and I cant wait til we can go there again!!
