Saturday night I felt like we should not just sit around the house but instead enjoy our weekends together since we both are back at work and actually go out and do family activites. I love Santa Monica and we have some really amazing memories there so I asked Babe to take us there. At first she didnt want to because its about an hr and 45 min drive but after alot of begging lol not literally she gave in and we wwere getting ready to head to Santa Monica. When we got there the 1st place we went was to the Santa Monica Pier
no I didnt take this pic but I wish I had. :o) The pier has all kinds of performers, people selling things, a few restaurants, and about 10 different rides and arcade games. Ethan has been here before but he was a little younger, so I knew he'd enjoy it more this time. We took a few pictures and walked the pier to watch the sunset, however the darn clouds only allowed us to see a partial sunset.

We then decided it was dinner time, the wait for Bubba Gumps
was about 45 minutes so we hung out watching waves, and Ethan wanted to sit on top of the dolphin. lol
Dinner was amazing as always at Bubba Gumps, it was now time to take a little walk over to 3rd St. Promenade
This is one of my 2nd favorite spots here because alot of the performers are actually quite good and there is this one lady we go see that is awesome her name is Amy May, here we are watching Amy May and this is Amy May...

after listening to her we walked along 3rd St. alittle longer and stopped to check out the Laker game for a moment as they lost.

at this point it was around 1030 and all the performers had pretty much gone home, so we walked back to the pier so Ethan could ride a few rides. Last time we were there he was barely tall enough to ride a few by himself and the others we had to go with him however this time he was tall enough to ride all the rides himself and he was even tall enough to go on the roller coaster but that was to scary for mommy. lol He got to ride on 4 rides of his choice and had an absolute blast.
