Such a Slacker!!!

Wow, so its already been almost a month since my last update! I have been the busiest person in the world lately. Here are some updates:
Thanksgiving- Was great, food was delicious, having all of our family together was very nice and I pulled of a great meal with the help of Lorrie of coarse, but it was definately worth it soooo yummy. We watched football and just kind of hung out all day long, the that weekend Shauna & I went Christmas present shopping, and we are ALMOST done! We have like 2/3 presents left and thats it WOW!!! Saturday, Taylor, my niece spent the night and we woke up Sunday and decorated the house and outside in Christmas decor and lights. I love the holidays Christmas is my favorite, and not just cause I get gifts but because I love all the holiday decor. I have however busted a fuse in the garage somewhere with my lights and only some of my outlets in the garage work EEEKKK so I will be making a phone call to Grandpa Bob to see how I can fix it lol

This weekend- My grandma is coming out to visit us because she will not be able to come to Ethan's B-day party. She is driving out tomorrow morning and will be leaving on Sunday afternoon. We are going Christmas shopping and just hanging out to catch up plus she misses Ethan so she is coming out. Then Sunday we have Gage's 2nd Birthday Party to attend ;o) thats Taylors little brother.

Next weekend- Our best friends Dawn & Donald's son Brett our nephew will be turing 1 so we are going to his birthday party on saturday, then SUNDAY FOOTBALL!!!! wooohooo Chargers vs Cowboys!!! We are going to kick thier butt :o) This should be a fun yet exhausting weekend

Dec 19th- My precious miracle boy will be turning 2 yrs old. :o( wow how time flies. He is getting SOOOOOO big and I just love him to pieces his personality is amazing he does have his terrible 1 moments but for the most part he is a great kid. We are having him a HUGE 2nd Birthday party. We have invited approx 40 adults and about 25 kids, now not everyone will show but we plan to have a bouncehouse, great decor, cake, catered food from Baja Taco, and a DJ who is our friend starting at 6, so the adults can have alittle fun too ;o) This party is why I am soooo busy so if I dont post again til after Christmas this is why.

Christmas- Is going to be at Mike & Angelas, we always spend the night over there and open Christmas gifts together as a family. Shauna has to work that night so we will have to wait til 730 to open gifts when she gets there ;o) Im excited because Ethan loves the presents now( they are all wrapped in our house) so Im sure he will have a blast opening them. This child is very spoiled and has the world I swear we will need a bigger house after this B-day & X-mas. hehe

This has been a very hard time for me getting closer and closer to Evan's angel day, and when Im so busy and working, cleaning, caring for Ethan, planning holidays, and trying to get prego again. I am exhausted! Luckly Shauna has been a great help around the house, Angela & Lorrie are helping me with Ethan's party, and Im slowly taking it 1 day at a time with Evan and just knowing how thankful I am that he has kept us safe and together as a family 1 more year. I know he watches over us and I know that he knows I miss him oh so much. Im sure I am borderline breakdown soon, but when it comes I will take my time and keep going. I love you Evan Michael.

Now on to a more positive note. I have taken some really cute pics of Ethan and a video I am going to upload, I will probably be MIA for the next month again since Im so busy but once all the holidays die down Im hoping to get back to my weekly posts ;o) Good night all and enjoy the pics xoxoxo ♥

Family Day Off

Today I have a day off during the week, so I figured it was a great time to update my blog and get things caught up. ;o) I like how I broke it up last time so I think I will do it that way this time too. So here goes....

Ethan-
Is doing amazing! He has been quiet a handful lately at school and has came home with a few bad notes for throwing toys, hitting, and having temper tantrums. We usually sit down and talk to him and on the way to school I talk to him letting him know he needs to be a good boy at school. He has has better days this last week so maybe hes just going through a stage in his life again lol...wow this kid has alot of stages and hes not even 2! I think he is also trying to get his 2 yr molars :o( its so sad cause hes always chewing on his hands making his hands like ice, and slobbering alot. He has no officially realized that medicine is gross and fights me to take it, darn it I was doing so good with that 1. He is now a picky eater again and wants to eat like 15x a day but just picks at his food lol so of coarse we limit it. He is talking to much saying so many cute words and sentences its so fun. I love this stage cause his personality really comes out but boy are those temper tantrums hard. I guess thats what I get for having so many when I was little with my mom lol. He is still sleeping really well in his room, however with the time change loves to wake mommy up at 630 in the morning which isnt so fun. He has also taken himself down to 1 nap and it usually is about 30 min to and hr depending on how tired he is which is hard for me cause thats my quiet time. He loves to look at Christms decoration which will take me to my next subject.....

Upcoming Events-
Im sooooo looking forward to the holidays this year, Ethan is loving all the light and decorations at the store. I bought him a blow up spongebob christmas decor for the front yard and he loves it. Thanksgiving is 1st which is literally right around the corner. 15 days to be exact! Im excited about having Thanksgiving at my house alittle nervous on preparing all the food but Lorrie, Shauna's mom will come over and help me so Im very thankful for help :) Then Ethan's 2 yr B-day is 38 days away!!! Still preparing that and getting plans together which I love. I am giving him a big birthday party since we have our own house and just think he deserves it since hes my lil miracle boy. Then only 6 days later 44 days til Chistmas!!!! Im so excited and I cant wait to start decorating, I want to start already but Shauna looked at me crazy when I said I was going to decorate already lol so Im being patient and waiting til the day after Thanksgiving :o).

Other things going on right now, is that we are still trying for baby #3, its going ok. frustrating at times but then there are days like today that I count my blessing for what I have and just be thankful I am a mommy to such an amazing little boy & of coarse my angel in heaven as well. Its coming up to that time of the year where I start to think of him more, miss him more, and just look back on everything. I am sure I am close to a breakdown but I actually havent had one in about 6 months which I think is good for it only being less than 2 yrs since it happened. I miss him everyday and every sec its just the holidays approaching that make life so bittersweet. Shauna is doing good, she is sick right now so Im trying not to get the rest of the house sick but Im sure we will get it too. I am going to post ac ouple new pics from Nov and a couple videos of Ethan dancing. He loves to dance and calls it "Ta, Ta" which is Tapdance lol.....gosh I hope he doesnt want to tapdance when hes older lol but if so Ill support him. French Fry

I bet your wondering why the title is called french fry lol....well I will tell you. This past week Ethan has decided to name his beta fish "French Fry", his fish is next to his high chair so everytime he eats, he will point to his fish and say french fry; He also likes to tell french fry bye bye all the time. lol I think that its adorable and the fish didnt have a name so it works. Now makes me wonder whats always on Ethan's mind lol maybe FRENCH FRIES lol. Halloween was a blast, at first we had a bit of trouble because Ethan was very very tired and just wanted to go to sleep, he was throwing major fits before we even left and finally we decided we had to get going otherwise he was going to keep crying. So we went up to our 1st house I told him to say Trick or Treat, he didnt but as soon as he realized that he gets candy at every house he goes to he was all for it. By the end of the night we went up to people's homes said "Please" and after he got his candy he said "Thank you!" as well as waiving bye bye and saying "Bye-Bye". He had a blast and was so sleepy by the time we got finished. We hung around with friends and family for a little but then when home put Ethan to bed and got ready to go out to and adult party. I ended up getting a major migraine while I was there and had to leave but it was fun for the short time I was there.
Nothing else is really going on, we are having family week this week because Shauna is on vacation, so Im trying to make this quick so we can watch a movie together. I have made a new smilebox from Halloween, and have some really cute other pics that I will post tomorrow or tues. I cant wait for Thanksgiving and Halloween. I realized in 1 month and 19 days we will be mommies to a 2 yr old!!! We have also decided that if I dont get pregnant in the next 2 months then we are going to wait a while then start trying again, its just to time consuming and stressful and with the holidays coming up I like to focus on them instead. I am such a slacker....

Ok 1st I would like to say sorry for being such a slacker, I feel like Im so busy that I finally just had time to update my myspace, facebook, and now the blog....Instead of doing several different posts today, Im going to post 1 big long 1 with many things that have been going on. Here goes......

Ethan:
He has been doing really well! Had a Dr appt on the 21st and the Dr said hes doing great. He weighs 28lbs and is 33 1/2 inches long. He did have to get 1 shot & mommy Shauna did not like it at all he cried, screamed, and even told on the nurse that gave him a shot. Then yesterday I had to take him to get bloodwork done....oh wow so horrible!! He was screaming and turned bright red, during the blood taking he kept saying "ouch, ouch, ouch, no, no, no" which is horrible to hear as a mommy, then once he was all done he had a bandaid on it and the whole way to the car he pointed at it and said "Ouch". So now that all the poking and pinching is done, he doesnt have to go back to the Dr til Feb 2010 and its just for a well checkup again. School as been going good for him, he comes home with drawing all the time, and he has a friend at school named Gage, that he loves to run around saying "Gage, Gage!" He is becoming quiet the little talker, I havent counted in a while the words he can say, but his newest are "Bye-Bye (along with waving), and "Night, Night" He also can say words like cookie, baby, cake, bubbles, and loves to put sentences together. His most recent sentence was "Look at that!" or "Where you going?" He is now in his big boy bed and I will post pics of him in it. He sleeps in it for naps and all night long; He has fell out 2x which wasnt bad for him lol. He's starting to become a little bit of a picky eater again but not near as bad as before. Still not eating with a spoon however he does try. He also just learned how to run around the house screaming as well as spinning in cirlces, like ring around the rosie...havent sang it to him yet. Overall he is doing AMAZING!!!

October:
Well this month has been kind of busy, we have managed to get all of Ethan's Christmas shopping done, and have 1 more gift for his Birthday present. I have been slowing getting things to prepare for Ethan's B-day party which Im happy falls on a Saturday this year anyway ;o) I have also done half of my shopping for Shauna for X-mas, we are now starting to shop for all the family. Ethan is going to be a dalmation puppy for Halloween, which I am excited yet scared about because I know he will want to walk everywhere, so I have been trying to teach him how to walk holding my hand instead of just everywhere by himself, I think if he knows hes getting candy when he goes up to peoples home he will be all for it lol....yea my kid loves sweets!! Gotta love myself for introducing them to him haha. I also went to see my family at the beginning of this month, it was fun myself & Ethan went out there for the weekend. I always love to see my family from time to time. They should be coming out for Ethans B-day as well.

TTC:(trying to concieve)
Is going ok, just taking it one month at a time, last month didnt result in a positive for us so we are trying again this month. Plan is to try the next 2 months maybe we will get a new addition before christmas ;o) That would be ideal for us, but since there is so much going on the next couple of months I am staying pretty busy ;o) So keeping our fingers crossed for a new little one soon.

Coming up:
Well lets see, there are TONS of things coming up that I cant wait for. Halloween being the 1st as well as that is the start of Shauna's week of vacation ;o) Yay a whole week we get to spend together as a fam. I have to work M-F but she will have the whole weekend off with us ;o) Next will be Thanksgiving, we are having it at our house this year so I am starting to prepare and see what I want to make for dinner that day. Christmas shopping like crazy the next month or so because CHRISTMAS IS ONLY 1 1/2 MONTHS AWAY!!!! I love Christmas and I cant wait to decorate the house and get Ethan into the Christmas spirit. We also have our Bff's son Brett's B-day coming up in December as well as Gage's (Taylors brother) birthday, then Ethan's 2 yr Birthday!!! Why is he getting so big!!! I think thats about it for whats coming up soon. :o) I am going to continue to update this once a week again since I got so far behind, its hard remembering all that happens in a month lol. I am still sick ;o( Wish my sickness would just go away already! Ethan is sick as well, Im seriously looking into the flu shot this year. Hopefully I get better soon cause I hate being sick. Ok now on to the good stuff......so many things are coming up I lovee Fall but my oh my how it comes and goes so fast!! Lets see here: There are 95 days til Christmas, 89 days until Ethan's 2nd Birthday, Halloween is right around the corner, then Thanksgiving right after. I am tring to plan a trip to see my family before the end of Oct cause with all the holidays I never get out there til Feb if I wait. We have already begun Christmas shopping, Ethan has about 4 gifts already. I am all done winter clothes shopping for him! He is set and ready to go for cold winter weather ;o) I am beginning the birthday planning since its coming so soon. He is going to have a "bob-bob" (spongebob) birthday theme. I have no idea what he is going to be for halloween yet, we are going to check next week or so for a costume. I am redoing his room as you all knew and its coming along just well. He got his big boy bed yesterday; I havent put it together yet due to my illness but Im sad he will soon be in a big boy bed. ;o(Hes getting so big. Today I was headed to the garage to do laundry and he was eating breakfast, I passed him and he said to me "where you going" ;o) ahhh it melted my heart. He also officially runs everywhere and can climb onto his grandma lorrie's couch. Grandma Sharon is in town and we love when she comes to visit, Ethan took to her really well he was playing with her right away. If you have a myspace or a facebook and your my friend you already know this, but for all of those who dont know...... we have thought long and hard about something and have come to an agreement that its about time to make Ethan a big brother. Thats right ladies and gents we are going to ttc starting this month. ;o) Im very excited however very very nervous to get prego again because of all that we went thru the 1st time. I will let everyone know when we get that big positive. Until then just know its in the making hehe ;o) Im going to post a few pics from last night. Ethan got a new chair and loved it. Yay I know xmas is soon and Im still shopping for him like normal lol I think Im going to outgrow this house lol. jk it will take me quiet some time to do that. Im off to watch some football, had to blog before the Cowboys game ;o) GOOOOO COWBOYS and everyone have a wonderful sunday. I will be posting shortly ;o) xoxo ♥

Sick, Sick, Sick....

I cant seem to get our family better! I have been sick for about 3 wks now, Shauna for about a wk, and Ethan a runny nose for like a week. We are taking over the counter meds but nothing seems to be working. I also right now like 5 minutes ago stubbed my toe and almost took off my whole nail! OUCH!! Things are going about same ol same ol around here, just working and trying to get in some family time at night when we are both home with Ethan. Im doing a 2 week training right now because we are about to sell Fios again at my office( a new product we have for phone, internet & tv) So I get a bit of a break for a couple weeks its nice. Shauna's job hasnt changed much they have pretty much told her that she wont loose her job and maybe will get a pay increase if the prison takes on a federal contract. Today was kickoff weekend for NFL football woohoooo!!! We are totally a football family, the Cowboys game wasnt on regular tv so Ethan got to go to grandma and Papa's house "On Grandparents Day ;o) " and spend alittle time with them while we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game it was a blast. Yesterday we got together with family and friends for a surprise b-day party for a friend. ;o) It was fun having everyone together. Ethan jumped in a bounce house for the 1st time, that he can remember anyway lol. He loved it and thought the entrance was a slide lol

Ethan now has 16 teeth that I can see and count. He loves to brush his teeth, he thinks its the funnest thing to do. I am in the process of changing his room to Cars The Movie theme, it s starting to come around real nice. I will take pics once its all done. Some of his stuff he wont get until Christmas or his birthday so it will be missing some items ;o). He loves to tell me when things are "all gone". He also told grandma and Papa "No" and "Dont". I love when he talks to me I think it is so cute. He is also going thru a hugging stage so he will just run up to us and hug us then run away ;o) It is tooo cute!! He is going thru a stranger anxiety thing right now because my grandma came out here to see him this past weekend and he didnt want to do anything with her, just would run away from her. I was sad cause she came just to see him and he was a little butt lol, guess he just has to see her alitte more. He is coloring like crazy in school, I dont know where to put all of his drawings lol. Nothin new happening

Since my last post nothing much has been happening. My sisters visit was alotof fun! Sh missed Ethan so much, it took Ethana while to warm up to her but after that it was all fun and games. We took him to Mojave Narrows to play at the park and see the horses, and then sunday was suppose to be our pool day but because of all the california fires the air quality was horrible so we decided to go to the mall instead. He played at barnes and noble and we bought him a new fish. He loves it, he's always pointing at it and saying whats that then he will say fish. This week has been alittle boring, I have a 3 day weekend right now and Ive been sick so we havent done much of anything. ;o( Tomorrow is Lorrie's Birthday so since I am feeling better we are going to have fam over for tacos tomorrow afternoon. Ethan really hasnt discovered anything new really. He can get on the couch sometimes by himself if he tries really hard and he now knows where his pee pee is. lol yea I taught him. Well hes waking up from his nap so I better go. Ill post some pics from last weekend up soon. Maybe next nap time, well see
