Sleepover Wednesday...

This past Wednesday night we had our niece, Taylor, over for the night because I was off on Thursday so we decided to have a family night....hanging out, eating pizza, and watching Fast Five! I love having both the kids sometimes because we enjoy seeing Ethan & Taylor play as well as we love being there for Taylor and just being the aunts to her that maybe we didn't necessarily have when we were younger, so in all we loved it!! Thursday we took the kiddos down the hill to Ontario and ate at Rainforest cafe, then went to Dave & Busters to play a few games. I love playing arcade games because it makes me feel like a little kid again lol The kids enjoyed themselves and it was a blast!!

Splish, Splash.....

Splish, Splash we were taking a swim....... This past week & a half we have spent a lot of time at Mike's parents pool and it has been so much fun!! Ethan went over there last Saturday and swam with his Auntie Angela, Cousin, Lacy & Gage while mommies went on a date day. Our date day was relaxing and very enjoyable, we went down to Orange County & ate dinner at Bubba Gumps ;o)Then on Sunday we all went swimming again, had a great BBQ, and played a few games of Hillbilly Golf lol The time we spend with family is so priceless, we enjoy each others company and have such a great time; laughing, joking, playing, swimming & creating memories!! My niece decided it was fun to ride the scooter into the water and it was freakin hilarious so of coarse we took pics & videos hahaha and then of coarse we had some relaxing spa time that night!! I ♥ it!!

4th of July....

The 4th of July was a very interesting kind of day; the skies were gloomy and we could tell a storm was brewing. The forecast said possible thunderstorms but we kept saying it never rains on the 4th...well we were wrong lol We were still able to BBQ some amazing food, my wifey is the best griller :o) then it began to pour down rain, I was worried it wouldn't let up and we weren't going to be able to do fireworks; however it did manage to stop to a light drizzle and we were able to do all of our fountain fireworks as well as 4 packages of sparklers. Ethan had a blast, he thought holding the sparkler was the coolest thing ever. I made funfetti cupcakes for dessert and overall it was a very nice, relaxing day with some wonderful showers that were very soothing to just sit outside to watch and listen. :o) It was so humid outside and by the look of the pics we were all so shiney lol

Why do they grow up.....

SO FAST!!!! Last night I put Ethan to bed as usually with the normal every night routine, "I love you Ethan"-"I love you mommy"- "Sweet dreams mommy" and I realized at that very moment that I don't have a baby anymore :( He use to say words wrong like panda bear, white, mint, and ready ready instead of ready freddy....he now says them all correctly and even thou I am glad he is growing and becoming a smart little boy I can tell hes growing up and hes not my little baby anymore. I remember everything like it was yesterday from when he was born, his 1st day home, the time he almost pooped all over Auntie Angela, the time our old dog Brownie almost scratched his eye out, his 1st pool time, food, out of town trip, and so much more!!! I would never change anything about the last 3 1/2 years Ethan has been on this Earth, I have learned so much about myself thru him and he has learned so much as well. He is very proud of his mommies and when he meets a new friend he is the 1st one to say "Those are my 2 mommies" I know he will not always be sweet and innocent but for the time being its an amazing feeling to be a mommy to a preschool aged kid. I went back through my myspace account, yes I said myspace lol, and found so many old pictures of Ethan from when he was little. I decided to do a collage of his 1st 3 1/2 years on this Earth. He has grown, changed, and developed so much since July of 08 to now, he was my chunky monkey then and now hes a skinny minny lol The joys of being a mother are so unexplainable and there are some people in this world that just dont have what it takes to be a parent but I know I am an amazing mommy to my bubba and I know he understands how much I love him and appreciate him as a whole. Kids are an amazing thing to experience and being a mommy has always been my life long dream, little did I know that being a mom would be so rewarding and feel so GREAT!!!!! I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed making it. :o) I tried to do a slide show of all the pictures as well but its not working properly so I may or may not be adding the slide show. Have a wonderful 4th of July, enjoy your family time and all the memories you are creating!!!

3-day Weekend

I have been so blessed to have a 3-day weekend this 4th of July and it has been the most relaxing weekend I could have asked for. We decided to stay home this weekend and just relax while enjoying each others company. Saturday we had a summer fun day; with both kiddie pools, music, running thru the sprinklers and so much more. The BBQ has definitely gotten its use these past couple days and will also be BBQ'ing some chicken tonight for 4th of July. The pool day was a blast and allowed us to spend family time together. I got Ethan to run thru the sprinklers even thou the water was in his eyes lol and I think Star had as much fun in the water as we did. Sunday was lazy day-watching tv and just being lazy; we also bought a few fireworks so we can give ourselves a little firework show tonight. :o) On the agenda tonight is BBQ dinner & fireworks in our backyard....pictures to come of today but here are a few of our summer fun day :o)

Update.....

on life in general which has been going quiet well surprisingly with all the changes that have been occurring the past couple weeks we are actually doing amazing. I have completed my first full week back to work and let me tell you.....I have forgotten how tiring it is to go to work, then come home and be a mommy & a wife and then do it over again. I was so use to just being a mommy & a wife with no work for such a long time that I tend to get alittle exhausted. I'm sure in time we will get back to our weekly routine and Shauna has been doing well around the house keeping it up for me, doing laundry, and caring for bubba so i definitely appreciate all that she does because I couldn't even begin to imagine how tired Id be if I didn't have her. Ethan is good, saying the funniest things at times and cracking us up like always. :o) Shauna & Ethan have started working alittle on his ABC's and jumping exercises, which we have found a very cool game on the kinect that he loves and it allows him to jump and exercise all while having fun which is awesome! Work is going well, much better than expected and I am not complaining at all lol I love having an easy work environment because it only allows me to feel more comfortable and sell even better hehe

This weekend is 4th of July weekend and I have 3 days off wooohooo, we are just going to spend it at home relaxing and enjoying our time together as a family. I made sure to get all my cleaning and business out of the way tonight so the entire weekend is ours! :o) I get so excited when I have time off with them because I love the time we get to spend together. You would begin to think that the more time you spend with someone you are bound to get tired of them, well not my babe & my bubba I love every last second I have with them....sometimes of coarse bub can be a handful but hes a 3 yr old little boy lol its kind of expected. All the family is doing well and I couldn't be happier with the way things are going right now. Plan of attack is to start July strong at work so we can start to build our savings and look into buying a house again in the next year which allows us plenty of time to prepare and know exactly what we want as well a be 100% sure we love the house before committing to it :o) I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of this year will bring and I know if there are any bumps in our road they will only be minor and we will get over them. :o)
Here's a couple fun in the sun pics from a week or so ago.....goodnight have a wonderful 3 day weekend, Happy 4th of July!!!

My precious....

Its been a while since Ive done this but I feel that its time for another letter to my sweet boy.....

My little angel boy, you have been in mommy's dreams and thoughts a lot lately and I wanted to take the time to tell you how much I miss you. We were at the grocery store yesterday and ran into 2 twin boys, with blonde hair about 1 1/2 yrs old and it made me miss you very very much. I have been doing rather well when seeing twins but for some reason they just hit home real hard. You would be proud of your brother which I'm sure you watch him all the time; he is doing awesome, progressing so well, so thank you my precious guardian angel you are doing good :o) I believe you work in mysterious ways and some of the things that have occurred since you left us makes me wonder how much of a miracle you truly are. You make the worst situation turn into a miracle and there is no other explanation other than you are GREAT! I love looking back at your pictures and yes mommy still feels sad for you. I have been getting closer to having a mommy breakdown and I know you don't want to see me cry so I am trying to be strong however my heart aches knowing you will never be here. I love you very much and just want to feel you next to me, visiting me in my dreams tonight and we will play ;o) Mommy loves you with all my heart please continue to keep us same and watch over you brother xoxoxo ♥
Trip down memory lane......
