Aquarium of the Pacific

Yesterday was a fun filled family day that consisted of underwater creatures and adventures. We took bubba to Aquarium of the Pacific which is one of our favorite places to go because of all the fish and neat things to look at. They have fish, sharks, jellyfish, seals, sea lions, birds and soooo much more!! Ethan loved seeing all the fish and going from aquarium to aquarium, he didn't want to touch the sharks or the sting rays lol he is always so scared to touch stuff. We went into the bird exhibit where u can buy nectar and feed the birds well we didn't know that they would attack you lol OK not literally but once we went in 3 birds immediately flew onto Shauna on her arm and back, she was alittle freaked out so I went over and got 2 of the birds to come on my hand. :) It was such a great experience and was so cute seeing the birds however Ethan didn't like them much, he likes to look from a far lol We even got to see the scuba divers feeding the fish in the tanks super cool!!












After the aquarium we went to the Long Beach Pier to see the boats and even talked Shauna into going on the harbor boat cruise which is a 45 minute cruise around the Long Beach Harbor. The boat trip was so nice and relaxing we got to see a few sailboats and even a seal swimming in the water looking for fish :o)







Our last stop was dinner which was at our favorite restaurant Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co. Dinner was amazing and was just the best completer to a great family day. I love when we get to have days like this!!! ♥

By far the BEST.......

DENTIST, I have ever meet or visited in my life would have to be the dentist and staff that work at My Kids Dentist!!!

We had our first visit with them last week as we got referred to them my Shauna & I's dentist because they specialize in kids dentistry. The very first time we went the staff was extremely nice to Ethan and made us feel very welcome they also went thru with Ethan what they were going to be doing (taking pictures of his teeth and counting his teeth) which really meant xrays and the dentist checking all his teeth for cavities. He had 3 cavities which we already knew about and we decided to come back today to do his fillings because it would be an am appt rather than in the late afternoon.

So we went to the office at 1030 this morning, Ethan knowing of coarse that he was getting his cavities filled. OMG I forgot to mention that they have flat screen TVs on the CEILING so kids can watch movies while in the dentist chair. Its freaking awesome!! OK so anyway back to the appt....they came in the room told Ethan to pick a nose that smelled good, he picked bubble gum, and then they set up the nitrous to relax him but to him smelt like bubble gum. The dentist came in and talked to him, distracted him, walked him thru the numbing explaining how he was going to feel, and what the noises were for example she would say things like...(mosquitoes are in your mouth I'm going to get them) meaning the numbing shots or (the train is coming choo choo) the drill that took the cavities out and my favorite (I'm putting your teeth to sleep and I'm going to give them a nice pillow and a blanket because we don't want the cold water to make them cold) meaning he wont be able to feel them the pillow is a guard to hold his mouth open and the blanket is actually latex that helps with the cavity filling....He did an amazing job!!! Did not cry one time!!! He sat patiently while he got the cavities filled and he earned himself 2 toys at Target for being such an amazing little man!! I highly recommend this dentist office to anyone who has kids they are AMAZING!!!

Ethan took his 4th birthday pictures on Wednesday and I have to say I have quiet the handsome little man! I'm going to upload a few as a sneak peak but save my favorites that we actually purchased for when the prints come in and then Ill post them!!! :o)

♥ Happy Birthday Taylor Rae!! ♥

Today is my niece, Taylor's 12th birthday! I can not believe how much she has grown since I first meet her. She was only 4.....wow Ethan's age and now she is such a smart, beautiful, and talented young lady. She is such a blessing to have in my life and I love her with all my heart. She is an amazing person inside and out and is going to accomplish great things in life as she continues to grow. One more year til shes in her teens....OMG!! We went over to her house tonight and celebrated with her and all of the family, took some great pics (all before everyone got there lol, sorry we couldn't wait for everyone), and ate some delicious food! Happy Birthday Taylor Rae, I love you!!!!

Monster Jam!!!!

This was the very first time we had ever been to Monster Jam and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had. We of coarse were going for Ethan and I wasn't sure how fun it would be but it was a blast!! It was such a family oriented event, nobody getting crazy and overall was so much fun!! Ethan took his Grave Digger car with him because he loves Grave Digger and we got to see the trucks race and then do freestyle which was my favorite. Ethan got a stuffed Grave Digger and one of the drivers from the Mohawk warrior came up in the stands next to us to give this other little boy his shirt after his freestyle it was pretty awesome! We decided this will definitely be something we do again in the future.
