Weekly update

Not much has happened this past week. Ethan went to the dr. he weighs 26lbs 10 oz and 32 inches tall. He is becoming quiet the little man. He is sick right now with an ear infection, mommies both have an ear infection too. Is not fun having a sick household :-( it seems like we are always sick and i disinfect my house so much it isnt even funny grrrr. Ethan is walkin much better now and startin to say a little more words, his favorite is still whats that! He had a playdate with the developmental people on sat, which went very well. She said that he is growing just fine, needs to work on eatin with a spoon and fork as well as crossin over his body to reach for things. Overall she said he is doin awesome and she doesnt think he is that far behind. My shoulder is still hurtin me however i did start physical therapy and it feels like it may be workin. Im still on ligh duty at work and have another week of my therapy. Nothin really goin on with Shauna just workin and been really sick the last 2 days. I dont have much else to say today. I havent taken many pics in last week but do have a couple i can put up. Have a good night everyone. xoxo

I've been out of commission...

Sorry it has taken me sooooo long to post. I have actually been out of commission and not able to do much, Im currently typing with just my left arm which is so hard...to make a long story short: right after the 4th of July my arm was killing me and I decided to report it to my superviosr since it was making it hard for me to perform my wor duties. I got sent to th dr and he pulled me off work for the whole week, the following week I went back to work but I am on modified duty. There is something wrong with my right shoulder, and we seem to think it is muscle related but the pain will not go away it only gets better with pain meds. I try not to use my right arm unless I absolutely have to and typing or mousing with that arm is impossible because after about 1 sentence I start to feel sharp shooting pains up my arm. ;o( not any fun so least to say thats why I have been slacking on the blog sorry ;o( Anywho lets get to the good stuff.......

Ethan is becoming quiet the little character. He is saying many many words now and his favorite is Whats that? I think I hear it about 50x in 1 hr lol but its ok I love it. He is now primarily walking and only crawls when he wants to be goofy. He loves to push mommys buttons to see what he can get away with and what I stop him from doing. He recently had his 1st trip to the beach and to a big swimming pool. He loved it he went down the slide several times with his uncle mike and a couple times with myself and his auntie. He thought the sand was the funnest thing at the beach but the water on the other hand not so fun. Everytime the water touched him he cried. lol It was hilarious. His grandpa Bob got to swim with him a bit as well; and is starting to get alittle better minus a minor setback. I cant wait til he can chase Ethan around the house again ;o) Nothing else is really going on right now, just trying to mend my shoulder back to 100% and get back on track at work. We bought a Wii in hopes to start loosing some weight and get alittle more fit. Other than that everything is same ol same ol here. I will post another blog with pics and a slideshow from his trip ;o) I might be alittle bit before I update again but it will be before Shauna's B-day. Good night all xoxoxo ♥

♥ 4th of July ♥

4th of July was a blast, it was a small crowd but the best crowd to have. The kids played in the pool while Angela & I sat out in the sun and got a tan ;o) it was so nice and relxing. Dad was able to come and he hung out outside with us all. It was hard not making him laugh, cause it hurt him so much to laugh but we always have stories to tell lol...sorry dad. We had sparklers for the kids and we were upset that Spring Valley Lake didnt do fireworks but we were able to see the fireworks from brewster park....kinda far away but still served its purpose. Today we just hung out in the sun again in the daytime then, Shauna & I watched movies and lounged on the couch the rest of the day ;o) Its nice to relax from time to time. My 18 month old thinks he's a....

TERRIBLE TWO ALREADY!!!! lol He is going thru a stage that Im sure will pass but man oh man do you have to have some patients right now with that little boy of mine. He is usually a perfect angel for his grandma or his auntie, but as he sees his mommy its time to be the devil again lol. He has been teething, he is cutting 4 teeth all at the same time I believe. He is getting his other top molar, his top canine, his bottom molar, and a bottom canine. ;o( So maybe this is the cause of his madness. Now dont get me wrong for the most part he is a good boy, but I plan to catch one of his tantrums on film one day so you all can see it as well. He will throw himself on the floor and start to do the worm backwards. He gets over it alot faster if no one gives him the time of day but if you give into it man oh man does it last forever lol. We are trying to start using a spoon, and we are working on new words such as i dont know, i love u, more, up, down, please, and thanks. He has mastered the word more, because he knows he gets MORE food if he says it lol. He has said from time to time love u, and i dont know but u have to listen very closely. He also can say go. He is walking around soooo much now its crazy. It really does seem like now he learns new things over night ;o)

We are having a 4th of july get together this sat, because we are hoping that spring valley lake will shoot off fireworks like they did last year. I also got a kiddie pool for the kids, sparklers, and poppers all for the kids ;o) I love the 4th of July so Im hoping Ethan doesnt get scared and not want to watch them. Nothing else has really changed, Im still trying to get my sisters to come out here and visit me one at a time for a week. My dad may come out to visit us from Texas, you never know with him though. My brother is having another baby(well his gf is pregnant) so I get to be an auntie again! Im excited for the baby but not for her, I dont care for her much ne more. Ne ways I will post some new recent photos and a cute video of Ethan running around naked. lol

What a B-Day Bash.......

As most of you that read this know, on June 27th we threw Shauna's Dad ( I call him dad too) a 50th b-day bash like no other. We had tons and I mean tons of food, even more alcohol, good friends, great music, and awesome times. Everyone was having a blast doing shots, keg stands, and flip cup. We also mingled and talked and took many many pics, which you will see below. It was one of the best parties I think we have had counting Angela's Toga party and maybe a couple others but it was right there in the top 5 ;o) Dad was having a blast and enjoying himself to the fullest, after all it was his b-day. Now up until this point the party was amazing and everyone had an awesome time BUT........

The boys then decided to take the golf cart out for a spin and managed to tip the cart over and it fell on top of dad. ;o( He came back in alot of pain and it was very very scary to see! Shauna & Angela freaked out as well as mom didnt know what to do. He was airlifted down to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center because they had a trama center incase he needed it. Upon arrival it was determined that he had fractured 6 of his ribs on his left side(we only have 6 ribs on each side), he also had a partially collapsed lung, and a lacerated spleen which he had some internal bleeding. The Dr's said the bleeding would go away on its own but if not surgery would be needed. I think he had Evan watching over him because thank goodness no surgery was needed and he is now home!!! He left the hopsital after staying for 2 days and even though he is in TREMENDOUS pain he is going to be ok ;o) It is sad to see him in pain but we all know in time he will heal and be back to normal. We love you dad!!!
