Ethan's 1 yr checkup

Ethan went to the Dr last week for his 1 yr check-up and everything went perfect. His eye Dr said that his eyes do not even look like preemie eyes and that he doesnt want to see him back for a yr, which means our next eye appointment is Jan 5th of 2010!! woohooo His regular Dr said he was doing just fine as well catching up like a normal baby, he still is behind on some things but they said that those will come in time. He is 23lbs and 30 inches long. He can now stand holding on to things, and pull himself up onto anything he wants that will support his little weight ;o) and he is learning he can express himself thru anger, which means we have to deal with temper tantrums already lol darn it at 13 months we already have a fisty one, wonder where he gets it from its not me ;o) hehe. He is now eating our types of food and will attempt to put them in his mouth, he misses sometimes but doing better, he can say hi alittle to the side of his head but its still cute and we are drinking from a sippy cup almost completely throughout the day. ;o)
He had his 1st day at daycare last week, he went 2 days and they went well he is having trouble with naptime cause hes use to mommies and grandma rocking him to sleep but his teacher Miss Lorraine said he will get use to the daycare swing of things before to long. He loves all the little kids and eats well during breakfast and lunch, I knew he would though lol. He will go to daycare 2x a week until June when we will be switching him to full time. It was hard for me to send him to daycare cause it means he keeps on growing but I know it is good for him and his learning abilities.
My birthday is coming up YAY!!! which Im so happy about, we are going to go to Vegas for prob 3 days and spend time with my family and have a date night out while my grandma watches Ethan. I think we want to go to a show like the blue man group or something since we've never done that. Shauna is now completely full time and is getting a post change soon so she will be off 2x during the week which sucks for us because we get no family days but she will be off in time to eat dinner as a family at least 4 days out of the week. We are also getting our own place in like a month and a half so we've been looking around everywhere to see what houses are available and how the market is looking. Im excited I want our own house and Ethan needs a play room hehe. Well thats about all, I will upload a couple pics from his 1st day of school as well as a bathtime session for you all to enjoy.
