To a perfect Guardian Angel
As the weeks get closer to the day I met you the more and more I think of you, the more and more I miss you. I wonder how different you would be from your brother and how much trouble you both would get into because I know how much of a handful your brother is all by himself. I know you would look just like him but I wonder if your hair would part just slightly different, or if you would have a little darker hair. I will continue to wonder and wonder as time goes on but having your brother here with me make it all worth while because I look at him and see you. I know you come to him and play with him and I want to thank you for that. He knows who you are and knows that you are in heaven watching over him and if you could please just continue to watch him, mommy would greatly appreciate it. I miss you soooo very much and there is a girl that I have been talking to that lost one of her twins and when I looked at her pictures it reminded me so much of you. Why did you have to go, I know you were meant to have a place in heaven but still to this day i just dont understand. I have came to terms with it and it doesnt mean that i dont still hurt or that I dont cry sometimes on my way to work when I hear a country song that makes me think of you, but i do want you to know that not a day goes by that I dont think of you. You are my everything and without the strength that you have given me thru the last 3 yrs I dont know how I would get through some days. I will be sending you a letter soon and your birthday balloons, like always every year! :) I love you so very much, until next time my love xoxoxoxo
WOW...I believe.....
that I'm an official slacker. It has been 5 months since my last post and oh so much has happened. It seemed like as soon as Shauna stopped working all we have been doing is going on mini vacations and taking family trips and I have been so wrapped up with family that I have completely neglected the blog. I think now is the time to change that; we are going into the holidays and I just feel like maybe everyone sees the updates on facebook but it would be nice if I can start the blog back up again. :o) So here goes.......
There is no way that I can catch up on 5 months of updates in one blog and honestly it will take me hours to explain everything in detail so Im going to give the short version of it all. So far this summer we have been to...Universal Studios, Huntington Beach for a beach weekensd, Las Vegas with family, Santa Monica at the Pier, Oxnard for the Dallas Cowboys training camp, San Diego for the Cowboys vs. Chargers game, Laughlin for a friends wedding, Wrightwood for a BBQ, and all around town with friends and family. In October we added a new addition to our family, an English Bulldog named Star. She is now 13 weeks old but we got her when she was 8 weeks, she is such a cutie pie and we are doing everything we can to raise a good dog this time around because we want her to be our life-long pet along with Abby, our cat. Ethan absolutely loves Star and Abby not a day goes by that he isnt playing with one of them or both. He is growing up to be quite a pleasant little boy to have, now dont get me wrong he has his moments but he is vry well behaved and is very smart. He has learned alot since my last post; we have managed to dump the sippy cup :) as well as potty train. Shauna has been a huge help with this because shes home with him all day (as you caan tell Shauna is still a stay at home mom) which I love very very much. It is very nice to come home to my wife and little man and know hes taken care of every day by someone I trust with my life :) Ethan does go to school still 2x a week all day so mommy can have alittle quiet time to herself, which isnt very much now that we have the puppy. We have completely stopped the thought of having another little one for at least a year if not 2. We love our life just the way it is right now and are comfortable with how we are currently living so no sense throwing a curve ball in the mix and adding another additon :o) There is several several pics that I need to share and I will probably just upload them all to a slide show so I can get all 5 months included in one. Halloween was a blast and Ethan was buzz lightyear, he got so many compliments on his costume it was adorable.
My favorite time of the year is coming Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as my little mans birthday, New Years and my birthday woohooo..... I love this time of the year because it is cold outside, we do lots of family movie nights and cuddling, as well as it just makes me so very thankful to have all that I do have in life. It also makes me miss my precious Evan and it will soone be time to write him yet another letter for the 3rd yr. I cant believe that it has been 3 years already since God blessed me with my two beautiful precious boys!! Thanksgiving this year will be spent with my family as well as Shauna's family which I am super excited for. I have not had Thanksgiving dinner with my family in at least 8 years!! Ethan is having a small birthday party this year nothing like last year, I just cant handle all the stress lol I am going to try to post at least once every 2 weeks or so and try to stay on top of it becauses I really do love this blog, I recently went back and read all the posts from when I was pregnant and when Ethan was going thru his hospital journey! We have been thru so very much yet i am very blessed to have what I do have in life. :) Going to make a slideshow now Ill be back in a little bit to post it.

Should be sleeping....
So it is about midnight and I am updating the blog now because I am sitting here with a towel on my head waiting for my hair to dry so I can go to bed. Silly I know :o) I have to do my hair in the morning before work because after work at 1pm we are headed to Vegas for a mini-vaca. Shauna's last day of work was today and instead of being sad about it we are actually pretty happy ;o) We will be in Vegas until monday which Im happy because I get a day and a half off work and i dont have to work on monday hehe. We have decided that Shauna will take the entire summer off then she is going to start looking for more work because we know that reality is she has to go back to work sometime :o( Ethan has already been enrolled in the preschool program at school and I have decided that I am going to switch to the sales compensation plan at work because I have the potential of making a lot more money than I do know, which depending on how much then Shauna may not have to work. We will see!! This past weekend was Memorial Day and we decided to have a BBQ with the whole gang, friends & family, I decided one day before our BBQ that I wanted to get an ear infection and be sick :o( so I was only part of the party til about 7pm then Ethan & I went to bed and did not wake up until 930am the next day. I am just now getting over my sickness and Im still staying clear of Shauna & Ethan because I dont want them to get it. Im really looking forward to this weekend in Vegas I miss my family and havent seen them aince Feb so it will be nice to catch up and visit. I will take many pics this time because I will not be sick the entire time lol like in Feb for my birthday. Here is pictures from Memorial Day BBQ......enjoy!!!

Update a month later.....
So this is going to be an extremly long post lol considering I have been MIA for over a month. A lot of things have happened in the last month and half and more things are coming in the future. So let me begin where I last left off. On April 17th we took Ethan to Santa Monica Pier and he road some of the rides, absolutely loved the water, and thought 3rd St. Promenade was pretty cool too. He kept wanting to go down where the men were fishing lol which of coarse we did not let him. For being his 1st time at the beach and one of the 1st times we let him walk around more than he was in his stroller it actually wasn’t that bad here are some pics from our trip……
The following day I found out some devastating news. My 23 yr old cousin Kaliegh had passed away unexpectedly and left behind her precious sweet 5 month old son. She was an amazing mommy and it was sooooo sad even thinking about how quickly she had gone.
We texted and talked on facebook all the time and even Shauna and her began to talk and get closer she was always trying to get me to come to Indiana telling me that my grandpa was getting old and wouldn’t live much longer and all of a sudden she is the reason we were headed to Indiana. We got word that the viewing and funeral were going to be that thur and fri and we were off making reservations to Indiana. The trip was for 6 days 5 night and did cost us a pretty penny but was worth ever cent. I got to see my dad who I havent seen in over 7 years as well as my brother, my nephew, my new niece, and all of my other family on my dad side. ;o) It was a bitteer sweet trip and at times felt like a vacation however when it came time to go to the viewing and the funeral it brought me back to the real reason we were there. :o( She looked beautiful and looked as if she did everyday. I got to spend time with her son and my uncle. It was sooo very nice to see all of my family. My brother is getting married sometime next year so I will be taking a trip out there again for their wedding hopefully with the family however Shauna hates planes and Ethan did ok this time around so we will see. After getting back from our trip it has taken me quiet a while to get things back to normal, it took like 5 days before we were unpacked lol which is not like me at all. After getting the house back into order we both went back to work and got things back on track with school. Ethan is getting bigger than ever and thinks he knows it all lol. His newest thing when he gets in trouble and gets a spanking is to yell as loud as he can that “mommy hit me” which pretty much means he will let the world know if I try to discipline him in public. I usually tell him “yes I did because you were doing this….” He is definitely something else. He loves playing outside and since the weather has been so off and on this past month its so hard to go outside and play. One second its cold out and the next day is hot, I just don’t know and it makes me so mad because I just want the nice warm weather to be here already. Here are a few pics from a nice day outside in May……
Mother’s day was very nice. Shauna’s grandma Sharon was out for a visit so she got to see Ethan and we all BBQ’d on Mother’s Day (well Mike did for us) ;o) We all just hung out and had a few drinks, talked, and just made good memories I love when we all get together for family events it so much fun and we all have a blast when together. :o)
Since Mother’s day we havent been up to much of anything. Shauna has less than 2 weeks left of work before she will be laid off and a stay at home mom. Ethan will still go to school 2 days a week from 8-12 for the preschool program they have which is goo because I wanted him to still have that interaction with other kids his age even though Shauna is at home with him. Im looking forward to her being home more often I think we will become quiet spoiled of the idea lol. We have many things planned in the next few weeks just to sum up a few here they are…Vegas the 1st weekend in June, Vegas for a bachelorette party the 3rd weekend of June, a wedding the last weekend in June, Dad (Shauna’s dad) birthday which Im sure we will do something, 4th of July, Mayheim festival July 10th, Shauna’s birthday August 4th, Cowboys vs. Chargers game w/ Mike & Ang Aug 10th, Cowboy trainming camp in Oxnard the next weekend, then Angela’s birthday to end August, and Mom (Shauna’s mom) birthday beginning of Sept and Havasu hopefully in Sept with the besties for her 30th birthday. Im sure there will be many bbq’s and family/friend get together inbetween all of that as well. June, July, Aug, and Sept are our busiest months of the entire year except for December. I look forward to it all. I am also going to get back in the grove of updating the blog more often because this is way to long of a post to do monthly lol. The last thing we did recently was take Ethan to the San Bernardino County fair. It was a blast Ethan loved seeing all the farm animals, absolutely enjoyed the rides the dumbo ride was his favorite. We took him to see motocross as well which was fun until it got way cold and windy. He now has a slight cold because of our crappy weather. Here is a few pics from the fair……

Serious Pain :(
So over the past week I have been experiencing major extreme pain in my lower back. :( I believe its my sciatic nerve, the easiest way to explain it is a sharp shooting pain that goes from my lower back into my butt, down my thigh all the way to my ankle. At times it feels like I have a charlie horse or dead leg :( It is definitely a feeling I would love to go away. I am going to see a chiropractor next tues, so I still have a week of this pain. I am trying to do the best I can and rest as much as possible but if you have ever had a 2 yr old in your life it doesnt seem to happen that often lol. My work is doing fine we have less than a month before vacation yay!! Im soooo excited. My grandma came out to visit this past weekend and it was nice to see her and catch up. She had so much fun with Ethan and even let me sleep in til 945 on sun woohooo!! :) Thanks Grandma! Shauna is over her work and ready to just be done with it they keep changing their schedules around and its just causing chaos in our life lol like we need any more of that. Ethan is doing amazing as usual. We are waiting for more spring time weather so we can enjoy ourselves outdoors :)
On another note our best friend that we have been best friends with for about 4 1/2 years now, recently found out he has a tumor on his bladder that is definitely cancer and has to have surgery to remove it. The good thing is that if the cancer has not spread the doctors believe it will all be gone and he will have to just go in for testing however if the cancer has spread to his muscle then he will have to have a potty bag for the rest of his life (sorry I dont know the correct terminology) I am very worried for him and scared. :( So please keep him and his family in your prayers for me please.
Now to end on a good note. I hope to have a good weekend coming up with the besties maybe a BBQ or just a get together and Im sure I will take lots of pics. I am going to post some pics from our playtime outback while the weather was still nice and not freezing. However its 930pm and its Ethan and I's bedtime so you will have to wait til tomorrow to see pics :) Good night all xoxoxo ♥

What if.........
Recently I have been going thru the what if's again. I periodically do this to myself and Im sure its only human of me; about a week ago I found myself thinking what if when Im in random places. Such as what if both boys were here at the park with me, would they be running in different directions so mommy couldnt keep up and what if I was taking both boys to daycare as they try to convince me not to. Little things like this make me smile but also make me have that oh so bittersweet feeling. Do not get me wrong I love Ethan with every being in my body, but I love Evan in a different way that is totally undescribable. I usually go about every 4-5 months before i start going thru an episode of sad, mad, emotional feelings. Looks like right now is that time again. However I couldnt begin to image how I would keep up with 2 toddlers asking me "why" and "no mommy" lol So I just wanted to spend a quick second thinking of my angel watching over us and how he has blessed my little family so much, keeping us safe and watching over Ethan as he grows older. Ethan is getting to that stage where I am starting to show him pictures of his brother and on occassion if I ask him who it is, he will say "brodder" (brother) To conclude my Evan moment, I dont want this to be emotional just a little note that Im thinking of you every day and will never ever forget you in any way possible. Mommy ♥'s you Evan!!!

Just when I thought.....
that I have seen it all, Ethan TOTALLY proved me wrong tonight. I was in the kitchen making my veggie pizza for our Easter potluck tomorrow and I hear Ethan calling my name. I didnt think much about it cause he always goes around the house saying "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" I look up and hes headed my direction with his hand wide open and saying "Ehhhh Ewwww" I tell him to come here I look and he had......POOP ON HIS HAND!!!!! OMG apparently he had pooped in his diaper and stuck his hand in it, I quickly grabbed his hand and lead him into my room to clean it off in the shower. Shauna was getting ready for work and as soon as she saw him she was like "What is that?, Is that poop?" LMAO ummm yea (she then made alot of vomitty noises lol) I cleaned him off really good and went to change him immediately. He is definately going to learn to use the toilet asap if he keeps that up lol. Luckly it didnt smell so I did pretty good cleaning it up. I know thats a gross story but i laughed my butt off after it happened so I just had to share. Got alittle update on things going on in our life.....
Shauna is being switched to 2 hr shifts which means she will work 3 days then be off 4 days then be off 4 days and work 3 days which Im excited about cause we get more time together :) My work has agreed with our union committee that they will not make us pay for any of our medical and they are still negotiated the rest. I booked our vacation in May for San Diego its a beautiful resort here is the website. www.paradisepoint.com We are staying for 5 days 4 night. I am so excited because it will be a much needed well deserved vacation for the 3 of us. We will go swimming, to the beach, on bike rides, to feed ducks, San Diego Zoo, and so much more!!! I am just so excited like a little kid in a candy store. There will definately be lots of pics from our vaca.
This weekend is Easter so I will not post this weekend but probably sometime next week. We are all going over to Ethan's Grandma Lorrie & Papa's house for Easter after Ethan wakes up and finds what the Easter bunny brings him :o) Everything else is going good. "I love you, mommy!"
Being a mom is the best feeling in the entire world and no matter how crappy my day is or what happens at work i can come home and Ethan will put a big smile on my face. He has been great at saying "I love you, mommy" and "I miss you, mommy" which just melt my heart so much!! Nothing has really been happening lately. We got somef our new furniture and I love it the rest will be here April 6th. I also have been busy trying to plan our vacation in May we are very excited about it. Its been nice outside and Easter is right around the corner cant wait for more family time. I just love when we are able to get together with our friends and family and hang out. I am actually looking forward to Shauna not working anymore so we can go more places lol Here are a few pics of bub from this week enjoy!!
