Day 13: Goals

Tomorrow is going to be a rough day because I am going to the oral surgeon tomorrow and have all 4 wisdom teeth taken out because they are impacted and coming in crooked so they need to be pulled and Im so scared that its going to be so painful and Im sure i will be heavily medicated so I will be doing Day 13 tonight just in case Im not able to get on the computer til late Tuesday. Im hoping I am able to get on by Tuesday to do Day 14. So here goes....Day 13: Goals

I have a few goals in life that I would love to achieve and some of those goals I would like to accomplish relatively soon. I want to be a home owner as soon as possible, I know this will be something we will get soon and as the house comes along more goals will be set such as landscaping our yards front and back, furnishing the whole home. I want to enjoy my work the way that it was before so I can set a goal to win a trip for my wife & I. My work gives away trips every year and its based on sales, when I enjoy what I do I actually work really well and I know I could potentially get that in the future. My last important goal because honestly I could go on and on about all the different goals I have set for myself, but last would be to raise Ethan right and have him grow up to be a successful young man and loving husband, dad, and anything else he wants to be in life!!

Day 12: Something you dont leave the house without

Lets see there are several different things that I never leave the house without and first and foremost is my PHONE, there have been times where I have left my phone and turned around and went back home to get it. lol I always never leave my purse and the things in my purse range from Tylenol, wipes, hairspray, makeup, chapstick and soooo much more!! Its nice to have everything right at my finger tips when I need it and thats what my purse does haha.

A little teaser of Easter :o) Ethan & I did a photo shoot on Wed am and I enjoyed it so much, he looks so handsome and is such a little ham when it comes to taking pics. It was very hard for him to see because of the sun; he has very sensitive eyes so we only shoot a few pics but I did a little editing and playing around with them I have many more to come as well as pics from this Sunday also. We will be back from Laughlin mid afternoon and plan to give Ethan his basket then and let him have a fun little hunt in the afternoon. Grandma Lorrie will be playing the Easter bunny this year for us, Thanks mom :o) Enjoy the pics......

Day 11: Favorite tv show

So I will be in Laughlin, NV enjoying the sun, pool, river, and beer this weekend so tomorrow i will not be able to do my blog post so it will come today as well :o)

My favorite tv show by far is "Teen Mom" & "16 & pregnant" I love those shows I am mostly a reality tv junkie however my other favorite is "Criminal Minds" anything that is suspenseful or has drama I like it. ;o)

Day 10: Something your afraid of

This is a hard one because no one likes to think of their fears, but I will have to say that I am most afraid of something happening to my little man! He is my pride and joy and without him I'd be lost. I think this fear stems from loosing Evan but when all mothers are faced with that kind of lose Im sure they only tend to have that fear. I am a very paranoid mother and I always am trying to keep him safe, however I know he has to get hurt from time to time like scrapped knees, bruises, and Im even sure an occasional broken bone. He is such a handsome little man and I love him to pieces!! I do have other fears like snakes, spiders, robbers, killers, etc but nothing that compares to the fear of loosing a child.

Day 9: A favorite picture of my best friend

This is going to sound super corny but my best friend is ♥ Shauna ♥ She is the first person I want to talk to at the beginning of my day, the first person I tell a secret to, the first person that makes me smile every day, and the first person to understand me when Im sad, mad or totally pissed off! She is my everything but she started out as my BFF!!! Here is one of my favorite pictures of her!!!

Day 8: A place you traveled to

I have traveled to many different places in my life, most of which being local California cities but my favorite place to go is Indiana. I lived there for about 4 years when I was a child and have so many memories of when I was there that were so good! I took Shauna out there for the first time in April 2005 and she loved it the green hills and atmosphere is to die for and if we didnt have so much family out here I would love to live there but I know that will probably never happen. We recently one year ago were there for a bitter sweet 5 day vacation. My 23 year old cousin passed away 1 yr ago, April ,and about this time last year we were packing our bags and headed to Anderson, Indiana. The trip was great yet so sad, we got to see so much of my family that I hadnt seen in years as well as they got to meet Ethan! I then went out there in Aug 2010 to see my little brother get married. I miss him so much but I know hes doing quite well for himself and I am very proud of him. I love love love Indiana and Im sure if I lived there I probably wouldnt love it as much but going to visit ever year or two is nice. Our next trip out there will be Aug of next year we are hoping; I want to take Shauna out there when the corn fields are tall and growing because every time shes been out there it was plowed and nothing but dirt in the fields, so well see what happens next year!! Dentist visit.....

Yesterday Ethan had his 1st dentist appointment along with myself, I figured if he saw mommy do it he would understand and be more susceptible to listening to the nurses and dentist. He was amazing, never did I think that a 3 year old would be so good and listen so well. He watched mommy take x-rays and clean my teeth, then it was his turn; He did amazing and let the nurse take xrays as well as pics of his teeth, he even bit down on the little pieces except the ones that kind of gag you. Then he laid on my chest and the dentist looked at his teeth, said we were doing an amazing job with them, and he sat thru a cleaning!! I am so very very proud of him and Im so happy that he has good teeth so far! He was such an awesome little boy, everyone even kept asking how old he was because he was doing better than any other 3 year old they've seen! Yay for bubba :o) Now on a bad note, I have to have all 4 wisdom teeth pulled on Monday the 25th :o( Im super scared because they actually put me to sleep and Shauna has to stay at the dentist office the entire time, drive me home & take care of me while Im all doped up! :( soooo scared and I have no idea what to expect!! Good night all & sweet dreams ♥

Family baseball night ♥

Last night we all went to watch our local minor league baseball team, The Mavericks, play and afterward there were fireworks! The whole family was there, Bob, Lorrie, Mike, Ang, Taylor & her friend and we had so much fun! Mike got us all a sky box so it was our own little room that we all got to sit and watch the game but also hang out and not be crammed by seats, I will definitely go again for sure. Ethan got to meet the team mascot, Wooley Bull, and I have never see that kid light up so much ever; he was calling for him and kept saying that he couldnt hear us and wouldnt come over and then all of a sudden there was a knock on our door and it was Wooley!! The kids all enjoyed themselves and I think all the adults did just the same! :o) A very nice family fun night filed with lots of laughter and love.

Ok, so soccer and 3 year old....hmmm yay super duper cute but omg so hard to get a little one in 85 degree weather, bright sun, who hates the the heat to actually play lol He didnt get the concept that when he has the ball other people will take it from him and he has to try to get it back, instead he decided he would get mad and cry when everyone took his ball lol and he was not the only one!! The coaches say its normal and they get better in time and I totally agree; he did however never use his hands the entire game and at practice he was using them all the time so he is definitely learning something! He kept telling me he wanted to go home and he wanted a snack haha but I told him he has to play with his team and they need him, which worked from time to time but still frustrating as a parent who LOVES sports to have him not understand. It still was a blast and I enjoyed watching him play and get out there and get involved, Im just hoping he picks up the sport and understands the concept sooner than later lol Here are a few pics from that day and Ill include a couple videos also :o) enjoy all and goodnight!!!

Day 5: A song to match your mood

Black Eyed Peas- #9 "Do it like this" on their newest album "The Beginning" Its been pretty warm out lately and any time the weather is nice we love to hang out in the backyard in the sun and listen to music this is always one of my favorite songs to listen to, so since I woke up this morning feeling sunny and when I opened the blinds its a beautiful sunny day I just cant help but want to play this song. :o)

Day 4: Your Parents

At first I was dreading this days topic only because my parents are such a bitter sweet topic for me full of joy, happy, pain and anger let me explain where these emotions come from without telling my whole life story. My parents were married until I was 12 and then my mom and all of us kids (1 brother, 2 sisters) moved to Las Vegas to live with my grandmother. Dont get me wrong I have had some amazing memories of my parents/childhood however some of the choices they made when I was a child is something I would never do to my own children. There have been times where I wondered to myself even now how could I forgive my parents for some of the things they have done to me or the ways that I was treated as a child. I was responsible for all my successes they barely played a role in them and most of my smart and stupid decisions were all based on what I taught myself. Now, in present time we are all doing much better, I have a very forgiving heart and I always tell myself "what if you never forgive them and they die thinking you dont love them" so with that always in my mind I forgave them for all of their flaws, no one is perfect in this world and even though I dont agree I still forgive. The relationship I have with my mother is quite nice now, we talk on the phone ever couple of weeks to update whats going on...she is always there when I need medical advice for Ethan, she is actually the first person I call when I panic so Im sure that means something :o) My dad and I have a pretty good relationship now we dont talk as much as i wish we would but thats part on me, we try to talk or text ever couple of weeks. Both my parents live out of town so I dont see them that often. Here is a pic of my mom and dad....we were together for the first time since I graduated in 2003, this picture was taken at my brothers wedding this past Aug. It was a very happy weekend for me to have both my parents there and to know that I have a relationship with them that I can now enjoy their company. I was sad to end this weekend because I knew that in the future I may never get to be with them both at the same time again. I love both my parents very much and want only the best for them and whatever makes them happy!!

Soccer Practice....

Today was our 1st official day of soccer practoce and it was the cutiest thing I had ever seen. We made sure Ethan was prepared with his shinguards, soccer cleats, soccer ball, matching practice uniform, and water bottle and hit the field. There are 7 kids on his team ranching from 3-4 years old and he even has a friend, Natalie, that he already knows so I think he feels more comfortable playing. They all sat in a circle and introduced themselves as all the parents sat back and watched. Stretching, running small laps, running back and forth kicking the ball, dribbling the ball between cones, makes goals, and even a practive game. He has his 1st soccer game tomorrow that I will actually be video taping and I will post some videos up tomorrow once we get home. Now mind you the attention span of a 3 year old is very little lol so there were several times that he stopped practice to come ask us for a snack or to say he didnt want to play anymore lol but as soon as his coach told him to come back over with the team he listened; at the end of practice they all went into a huddle and put thier hands together and shouted "GOOOOO CROCIDILES!!!" He is number 6 and his team colors are black & green, the entire fam except Uncle Mike who has to work :( will be there supporting him tomorrow and I am super duper excited to see my little man in an official uniform playing a team sport!! His mommies are so sport oriented that this kiddo better enjoy a sport of some sort lol...hope u enjoy the pics!!

Day 3: Your first LOVE ♥

Love.......something that is played around with and said so many times as a teenager and we all think that we are soooo in love, until you actually meet that one person that sweeps you off your feet and makes you feel like you are the only girl in this universe that matters; that person is my wife Shauna. Never did I think in a million years that the person I would want to spend the rest of my life with a local girl from Victorville. I still remember the 1st day I saw her wearing her red, white, and grey stripped polo shirt talking on her cell phone and the day we had our 1st kiss mid-sentence in the Carl's Jr parking lot, I had never been so nervous in my entire life. I remember the night at El Tio Pepe where her mom told me she wasnt looking for a girlfriend and that I just need to be a good friend to her....sorry mom but I fell in love ;o) with your daughter and your entire family!! I could not imagine my life without her in it and as soon as the oh so wonderful state of California allows us to get married we will definately be offical but until then I dont need a piece of paper to tell me how much I love her!! She is such an amazing mother to our son; so loving,caring, respectful, and just awesome! If she reads this she will probably blush but I still look at her the same way I did 7 years ago. We still have our goofy moments, our laughing like crazy moments, our sad and hold each other moments, and I love every bit of them. I love you Shauna, you are my world and my everything!!!
