May 19th- San Bernardino County Fair @ Fairgrounds.....

I am super duper excited to take Ethan to the fair this year!! There are all kinds of farm animals, rides, great food and it just overall is a great family place to go! I will be taking lots of pics so definitely be on the lookout for them in the next week or so.

May 22- System of a Down @ Pearl concert hall in Palms Hotel & Casino (VEGAS BABY!!)




I could not be more stoked about this! The last time we saw them was in 2005!!! Its going to be a blast and then some and of coarse pics to come as well

YES!!! we are going to see them again!! This time it will be in an outside venue so we actually bought lawn seats which means we wont get to see much bit just to hear them and to be with other S.O.A.D fans is just going to be fan-freakin-tastic!!!! Pics will only we avail from my cell during this event but I will be sure to update with them as well.

As you can see I will be quiet busy the next week or so; therefore dont expect a lot of posts in the next 2 weeks there will be a few but probably not as many as recently. Have a wonderful rest of your day!! ♥

Meaningful moment...

This was my Facebook status yesterday and the more I think about it the more I come to realize that this tiny little quote has so much to do with my life it is ridiculous how much it fits me; therefore I decided to take a moment and reflect on my life, not necessarily going into details because some of the moments are very private, yet I do want to express how I feel.

There are many times in our life Im sure we have thought to ourselves "why me", "just shoot me", or "what did I ever do to deserve this"- well the fact of the matter is that God would not give us obstacles in life that we are not able to learn, grow and continue to live thru. I have had my many of obstacles throughout my 26 years of life that I think that I have the right to throw in my two cents! Life is not about how much money you have, who your friends are, or what you have to show from it- now dont get me wrong those things are all nice to have however life starts from one thing FAMILY and without family many of us would have no one to turn to. Families are made up of many different kinds so just because there is not a husband/wife/kids, etc doesnt mean you dont have a family. Everyone in this world has a purpose and I believe my purpose is to help people thru their hard times, show them that just because you have a rough patch in your life, case in point "ME"-substance abuse in the home, mental abuse at times, physical abuse in domestic relationships, hunger, poor, etc- does not mean that the end of the world has come. I have came a long way since I was 15 years old and never in a million years did I think I would be where I am today. I love my life and everything that is in it; at times there is hardships- work, money, major life changing decisions, etc that I must face but in the end I still look to Ethan & Shauna and think to myself "Wow! What did I do to get so lucky" There have been a few changes in our lives that we are going thru right now, as well as others that I know going thru similar situations and I just started thinking- family means everything and as long as I have my family we can conquer the world!! Your life doesnt have to be perfect in order for it to work it just has to make "YOU" happy!

Practice makes Perfect!!

Soccer has gotten a little easier as we are getting thru the season. Ethan has 2 more games left and during his last game he actually played more than he sat out. I got in there a few times and helped him and his best friend, Natalie, run around and show them which direction to run. Ethan loves to run so he actually just runs around the field and sometimes will kick the ball lol I am going to share a quick video of him running around during his game :o) as well as a few pics some edited and others just originals, enjoy!!

Finishing this blogger challenge....

So obviously this blogger challenge has taken way more than 30 days because of my surgery then just being busy and most recently because of a migraine I had for about 3 days straight, therefore I am deciding to do the remaining days right now all in a row and get this blog challenge over with for once and for all! :o) I love blogging again and I will definitely keep up on it now from this point forward. I may not update a post every day but with every even in our life I will be sure to update everyone on so here goes Day 24- Day 30 all in a nutshell....

Day 24: Something you have learned....
I would have to say that the number one thing in life I have learned is to forgive but make sure to never forget. Many people in my life have hurt many in many different ways and majority of them I still have relationships with to this day, many people think I am crazy for having relationships with some of them but I feel as a person I need to be able to get past what they have done to me no matter how harsh, how mean, how sad, or how vindictive it was forgive them and make sure to keep that little tally in the back of my mind what has happened just in case it needs to come about again. I am not by any means saying I pull things from my backpack all the time however there are some instances where my awesome memory plays a great role in a conversation lol There are many things in our lives that could hurt us beyond control and if those things are dwelled upon it can in the end tear up your life and make you a miserable person so rather than being depressed or sad I have learned to forgive and "not" forget lol

Day 26: Your Dream wedding......
Well considering at this very moment I am not able to get married I really havent thought about my dream wedding. As a little girl I was never one to fantasize about what my wedding would look like or how it would be, I do however have a few things that if Shauna & I were able to get married I would like to have. I am a huge fan of black magic roses and I would make sure that my entire bouquet as well as Shaunas was nothing but black magic roses the center pieces and decor of the wedding would of coarse match the dark almost black color of the flowers and I would love for the ceiling to be draped with sheer and clear lights almost like a fairy tale, it would be so weird to see Shauna in a dress but we both would be wearing one on our perfect day. Ethan would be our little ring bear and Im sure I have a few adorable little girls In my life that would make perfect flower girls. I have never sat down and thought about it entirely because I dont believe it will ever happen but it if did it would definitely involve black magic roses!!!

Day 28: Something that stresses you out.....
WORK!!! hahaha well of coarse that would be my number one thing in this world that stresses me out; other than that there are very few things in life that I get extremely stressed out about, most of which are so small and people shouldnt even stress over them but I do like if the house is not clean or if I have things on my agenda to do and they dont all get done. Im very weird like that but I would definitely have to say my one and only major stress's is work!!



Day 29: 3 wishes....
1. I wish for a prefect home one day that we can buy, nothing that has to be immaculate but something I have always been wanting
2. I wish that Ethan will go up to be a respect man and treat his woman in life they way we are raising him which is to be kind, gentle, and to express your emotions. Many people may say that he is a pansy because he is raised by 2 girls and we are to soft on him but in all honesty there are several boys raised without a male besides just relatives and they usually are the most respectful men out there so I wish for Ethan to be a respectful and respectable your man!!
3. My final wish would be to take my wife on a wonderful vacation full of laughter and lots of fun, somewhere neither of us have been for 5-7 days kiddo free kind of like a honeymoon!!!



Day 30: FINALLY.....a picture of yourself this day & 5 good things that have happened since starting this challenge.....


1. I have spend the most time ever with my son since he has been born all because I took time off work and I have learned so much about him and grown so much closer to him than I could ever imagine.
2. I have been treated to 2 concerts to see System of a Down which isnt until next week but I bought the tickets during this challenge my wifey is the best!!
3. I have found myself alittle more and realized that I dont need to be so hard on myself and everything doesnt have to be perfect
4. I have been able to get closer to Shauna again like we were when we were young, all the stressing of work made me forget how much I love her and how much I enjoy spending time with her now
5. I have discovered because of my sister-in-law the amazing world of cake balls and how much I LOVE THEM!!!!

Day 23: Favorite pieces of clothing

I would have to say I love my tub-tops they are my favorite summer shirt to wear! If Im in the sun I dont get sun tan lines lol and they are usually a light material so I am not to hot. We have recently found a new place to buy Metal Mulisha shirts so I think Im in love lol they have so many different shirts and I love how they fit me. Im usually more into how my shirts fit before my pants and I do have a thing for shoes I just cant get myself up to spending lots of money on them I'd rather buy shirts lol

♥ Fundraiser ♥

My niece, Taylor Rae, is going to Washington D.C. next year for her 6th grade trip with her class as well as her mom, Angela, will be going also. They are doing a fundraiser to help collect money for her trip so I thought I would share it on here with everyone also. Im not sure about shipping if you dont live close by but we can always see what we can work out :o) She makes cake balls & cake pops which can be bought individually or as many as you would like, she also makes them theme related(like above was for mother's day) baby showers, birthday parties, father's day, etc if anyone is interested write me a comment on here and I will get back to you! :o)

♥ Mother's Day ♥ 05/08/2011

Mother's day would not be without my handsome three year old little boy, Ethan Glenn! Never did I think that three years ago a precious so fragile 1lb 15oz little boy would be born and would change my life forever. He is my everything and has completely changed the way I live my life, the things I do in life, and just life in general. I can remember, like it was yesterday, the day he was born, he crawled, walked, talked, our 1st mothers day, 2nd mothers day, 3rd mothers day and now 4th mothers day; there will be so many more to come but I will never forget any of them!!

This mothers day we had Shauna's family over and did carne asada with all kinds of sides-salsa, ceviche, guacamole, cheese dip, etc. Shauna's family is like my 2nd family sometime I even think I am closer to her mom and to her sister than I am to my own because they are so close to me and so involved with me and my life. I love them dearly and we made sure to spoil them just a little for mothers day. Mike & Bob were also there with us on our special day full of laughs and even a few happy tears :o) We watched home videos later of Shauna & Angela when they were little and it was just an overall wonderful day! Angela even made cake pops for us which were amazing I still have two left and after I finish this blog I will for sure be eating one. Double S's....Sister & Soccer!!

Last Saturday Ethan had an early morning soccer game as well as my sister came out to visit for a short trip which was so nice! I hadnt seen her in a couple months and it was very enjoyable to spend time with her. Ethan still decided that he didnt want to play that much and I think he enjoys halftime, and the after game cheer more than playing lol but I still got a few good pics out of it!



My sister and her girlfriend really loved seeing Ethan and I could totally tell how much fun she has with him and how much she loves him...we played in his room for most of the night here are a few pics also :o)

Day 20: Nicknames/Day 21: Favorite picture of yourself ALL-TIME & why?

Day 20:
I dont really have very many nicknames besides maybe krys, but other than that the only thing I really get called is "babe" or "mommy" lol

Day 21:

I will have to say this is my all time favorite picture of myself because it may just look like a self portrait of myself yet there is so much about this picture and this time of my life that makes this picture mean so much. The picture was taken before a night out at Chili's in Sept 2006. I love the way my hair shines, the smile on my face, and the happiness show in this picture. If you knew me this wasnt really a happy time in my life but because I wanted to have such a good time out I wanted to make it a happy time. I love everything about this picture and usually I can critique at least one thing about myself however not in this pic :o)

Day 19: Something you miss....

Talking about something you miss is sometimes a sad thing; the thing I miss most of all is spending time with my brother! I miss him so much!! He is my closest sibling in age but also the closest to me! Dont get me wrong Im still close to my sisters just not near as much as I am to my brother. He lives thousands of miles away in Indiana and we see each other about once a year or year and half. He is such a great provider for his family and a great daddy to his little ones! I am very proud of him and all that he has become however being so close to him when we were teenager's and when he started living with me, makes me miss him so much now. We talk on the phone about once a week and catch up on life, the kiddos, and how we are doing in general but I still miss him alot! If I was able to move out there or he was able to move out here we would be in the ideal situation but since we cant, we do the best we can when we are with each other. I love you little brother!! xoxo
