In the almost 8 years that Shauna and I have been together we have never been on a significant roadtrip which required travel times of over 3-4 hours sooooooo with that being said this coming up March we are treating ourselves as well as Ethan and Star Bar to a roadtrip we will never forget. I have always wanted to go somewhere in the snow as well as Ive been told numerous times about how gorgeous it is in Colorado, therefore we are taking a 7 day vacation and hitting the road from our home city to the Rocky Mountains :o) Denver, CO!!!! We are of course renting an SUV with 4x4 in case we need it for the steep inclines of the mountains or the snow terrain along the way. We plan to drive straight out there sharing turns as much as we can while making minor stops along the way- see below for itinerary. It will be a fun getaway for us and I am beyond excited to see Ethan and Stars face when they see how much snow is out there and play in it. We have been toying with the idea of moving out there so the trip will not only be for pleasure but will also consist of us looking at houses and different areas of the Denver Metro area but overall is going to be used as a vacation we have never been given the chance to have!!! I have put together a list of all the goodies we need on our roadtrip as well as things we will need once we are out there. Ethan got a sweet snow suit and some snow boots mainly because I know he will play in it more than we will and I want him to be warm!!! The trip is a few weeks away and I know as it gets closer to the day we will get more and more excited about our adventure. I will for sure be blogging about it when we return but no computer or blogging while were there :o) cell phones and facebook will still be a must lol Here's a little sneak peek at our plans.......I CANT WAIT!!!!!!
