Ethan's Neurologist Appt

Yes, yet another appointment for my little man. We told his pediatrician a few weeks ago that we needed a referral to see the neurologist because any time Ethan does things with his hands that require fine motor skills especially in his right hand he tends to shake and sometimes even gets mad at himself for being so shaky, so off to the neurologist we went. We tried to do this last year but because they wanted to sedate him for the tests I got scared and we declined the tests and never pursued what was wrong with him, well now that he will be starting school in August I really need to make sure he doesn't have any nerve damage and if physical therapy is needed that we start him on it before he starts school. The neurologist did a few reflex test and had him jump around alittle, we put in the referral for his tests (EEG) to be done at the hospital since they need to sedate him so hes still for the test (thank goodness he has a different medical group than I do) lol so the referral will be approved sometime the 1st or 2nd week of February. He was a very very good boy at his appointment so I treated him to a trip to a new park that was huge. He had so much fun at the park and we will definitely be returning in the future.
