May already....

Ethan had a dr appt last week he is 25 lbs 2 oz and is 31in long. What a big boy he keeps going and growing. Dr said he was doing great everything looked like it was progressing and overall was a good healthy Dr appt. He has to go back in June for his 18month checkup but no more shots until he is 4 yrs old.YAY!!! He also has an appt with a developmental specialist on this tues from Early Start program. It is a government funded program that comes to our home to observe Ethan and how he is progressing as an almost 17 month old baby. The do not adjust for his age, which his adjusted age is 14 months. They will overlook how he performs physically, social and acts mentally. Then it will be determined if he needs physical therapy or speech help, etc. It's very scary cause I know how far behind he is and I dont want a stranger telling me my son isnt perfect lol. At his current age he should be saying apprx 16 words, walking, pointing for objects he wants, and Im sure many others but those were the most thigs they were concerned about. I will post tues night to go over the appt and let everyone know what happened. Today was a beautiful day so we went outside and played I will post pics of our swing time and backyard play date ;o) He is also still trying to get his right side molar in which I know hurts him. Its about his bedtime right now hes watching Nemo, his all time favorite movie. Nothing much has changed with Shauna & I, work is still doing good and we still love our new home and are doing real good on our own again ;o) Mother's Day is next Sunday so we are having the family over here for Mother's Day and tacos. YUMMY!!! I cant wait I love Mommies Day. Well I better go put him to bed and I will be back to post the pics and videos. Goodnight and til Tues have a great monday
