So apparently Im a major slacker and I guess alot of people still check the blog and Im sorry I disappoint them every time with no updates well guess what Im back and I am going to get back into my routine of updating once a week on sundays. This will count for this week hehe. My last post was Dec 4th....WOW!!! Since then 2 months have past and sooooo much has happened so I am going to update and catch everyone up to speed as well as add photos from Dec to current and some videos too. :o) Here goes....make sure you keep up hehe
December- Ethan's 2nd birthday was a blast, he had so much fun thier where so many people that were able to come out and celebrate with us. The decorations were amazing if I do say so myself and the DJ was great!! Ethan loved his bouncehouse and was dancing with all of us with the dj. He got lots of cool gifts including toys, clothes, his tv, trainset and so much more. There are many pictures that I will upload. Christmas was fun as well. The entire family was together at Angela's house and we woke up bright and early to open gifts. Shauna surprised me with a mother's ring which has my birthstone as well as the boys birthstone and thier names engraved on each side of the ring. It is beautiful, I cried like a big baby lol and I love it so so much. I think overall december was a busy yet very enjoyable month for us. The new year we did nothing, Shauna had to work so Ethan, Taylor, & myself stayed up til midnight and watched the ball drop.
January/February- Well its a new year and hopefully many new things good will happen for us this year. Ethan is growing up so much and continues to surprise me with the things he says and does. He has such a large vocabulary and it seems like each day he learns more and more words. He loves to watch nick jr. which is fine for me because I think he is learning so much from them. He has a dr appt on Feb 24th so we will see how he is doing. Im going to ask the dr to check to see if he has an allergy to red fruits like strawberries, watermelon, etc. because he tends to get really red and flushed when he eats them so Im thinking hes allergic. My birthday just pasted it was very nice I was off for a whole week however I have been since the entire weekn as well so I dont know how much fun that was. I got to see my family which I always love. They live so close yet its so hard for me to see them unless its every 3-6months. My brother just had his 2nd baby. A little girl named Emma Jo she is so adorable and looks just like him I wish we lived closer to him so I could see her. We might be taking a trip out there at the end of the year if all things go good. I go back to work on monday :( but I am off wed for his appt :) I just love being home with him to bad i cant be a stay at home mom lol We have also stopped trying to get pregnant right now only until April when Shauna's negotiations happen with her work because we dont want to get prego if the future doesnt look the same however it should be fine. So we are planning to start trying again in April and see how things go. I want to make Ethan a big brother before he gets to old and I dont want them so far apart.
I think I have about summed up all that has happened in the last 2 months and will definately add pics. Since Im going to stay on top of this again my posts wont be as long lol...enjoy the pics and videos goodnight! ♥
