2nd stop The OC Fair
I had no idea that a fair could be this large, we are so use to going to our local San Bernardino County fair that I had no clue The Orange County fair was as big as it was! There was so many different things for us to do there and so many things to see. The livestock area was huge!! Ethan got to see all kinds of different farm animals and even pet a chick and a huge cow, he wasnt to keen on petting all the livestock but he still enjoyed it. They even had an ice sculpting museum which was sooooo cold but so interesting an neat to see, I had never seen ice sculpting in person and it was amazing! Then it was lunch time and you know we had to go to the fair the same day the food trucks were going to be there lol so off we went to grab Bubba a grilled cheese from The Grilled Cheese truck and we had 2 of the best hamburgers we have ever had from GrillemAllTruck which is kind of like a metal band themed truck and the food was to die for!! Lastly it was ride time, the fair had a large selection of kids rides that Ethan was able to ride all by himself and by the time he got to his 2nd ride mommies had realized just how big he was and that he can not only ride the rides by himself but he can also get onto most of the rides all by himself also :( My baby is growing up to be a big boy!! He is very adventurous and loves the roller coasters and anything that goes fast, it seems like he was bored on the ones that just went in circles lol but overall the fair was an amazing family trip and we enjoyed ourselves very much...of coarse here is fair pics.
Last and final random trip was a 2 night stay in Vegas! We wanted to get away from home and just take a quick relaxing trip to Vegas and do alittle family things that we normally dont do while we are out there! The 1st night there we went to Rio and at at the Seafood Village buffet which consists of soooooo much seafood you can smell it when you 1st walk thru the place. The food was delicious we did get alittle mad and tired of trying to crack our crablegs so most of our meal consist of shrimp dishes lol and wonderful dessert. We did visit with my sister for a short amount of time as well as my mom since it was a random trip nothing was really planned so we kind of just went moment by moment and did what we wanted to do. The next day we woke up and took Ethan to the Shark Reef
at Mandalay Bay aka "The Palace"
as Ethan would call it. The Shark Reef was pretty cool, saw lots of different fish, sharks, alligator, jelly fish, sting rays, and so much more. Ethans favorite part I would have to say was the jellyfish he stood there for so long and every time I would ask him if he was ready to go look at something else we would say, "Can we just look at the jellyfish?" we stayed with the jelly fish for a while lol. I of coarse loved to see the sharks and I think thats Shauna's favorite part also they are such cool creatures and just the way that move and just shift so graceful without a care in the world is so cool, it was time to leave the palace :) and go rest a little before we started our night trip. The night trip included a trip to downtown Las Vegas to finally let Ethan experience The Fremont Street Experience
and who would of thought that we would find a food truck festival also!!! oh yes we did....The Vegas StrEats Festival
was going on that night as well right down the street from fremont with live music, vendors, and about 6-8 different food trucks. We ate from the Curbside Cafe & from Lola's the food was amazing, they do have alittle catching up to do in order to compare to California food trucks but just the fact that we found them and the food was good was the best. Ethan also enjoyed fremont street experience, he loved looking at all the lights and the show they put on above us was a good one also...pics from a quick getaway.....
