Grandma Lorrie had a great idea to take Ethan to one of the local churches and participate in their annual Easter Egg Hunt! I thought it was a great idea and had always wanted to take him to the egg hunts but wanted to wait til he was a little older to understand it and be able to participate without the help of mommies. The event had bounce houses, a big playground, food & face painting(we didn't eat or face paint the lines were to long) Ethan loved the bounce houses like always and then it was time to wait for the big egg hunt. He went over in line with his basket and made sure he was in the very front after what seemed like forever it was finally time. I told him to run all the way to the end of the field so he wont get trampled on at the very front. I went further out with the camera so he knew where to run to and off he went! It was so cute watching him run around and pick up eggs I think he had more fun just running around in circles rather than actually picking up the eggs lol He got about 15 eggs or so and he went through some of them and realized they had candy in them, had he known this before he probably would have gotten more eggs lol After the egg hunt he played on the playground for a few minutes and it was so hot and mommies were ready to leave so we ended our day at the egg hunt and went home. This is definitely something we will continue to do every year and make it a tradition. :)
