1st busted lip :(

Ethan got his first busted lip last week while we were at the Irvine concert. He was playing at home with Star & Grandma and when he was running inside he fell and hit his lip on the coffee table which by the way is glass :( Grandma did a great job checking him making sure his teeth were ok, there were no cuts, and he was done crying and even caring about it less than 30 mins later. We got home at 130am from the concert and she told us what happened at this time his lip had swollen since he went to bed and was about 5x bigger than his normal lip. We were of coarse scared and never been thru a busted lip before and were afraid that maybe the bruise underneath was a blood blister that would burst so we took him to the ER, everything checked out fine and the Dr said he had a big bruise under his lip and that since there wasnt much we can do just put ice on it and give him ice cream well of coarse he loved this idea and at 4 in the morning he wanted a snack instead of going back to bed lol I will have to say that I hope he never gets a busted lip again; I mean it is sure to happen and hes a boy so I know he will go thru many falls, bumps, bruises, and usually broken bones but hes my baby and I hate seeing him hurt like that. It had settled down by Memorial weekend and now looks back to normal! Yay!! There is just a little discoloration in his under side of his lip but its all better now!! Pics to show how bad :o(
