SYSTEM OF A DOWN!!!

System of a Down in Las Vegas had to be by far the BEST concert I had been to!! Now of coarse any time I see them its a blast but Vegas was so much fun.....we drove out Sunday afternoon of coarse taking pics and blaring System out of our speakers the entire time. We called The Palms in the morning to tell them we were driving 3 hrs and if we could check in early and they said it would be fine, so we get there at almost 3 and go to check in and guess what our room is NOT ready! They ask us to wait til close to 4pm for our room to be ready so we did, at 4pm guess what is STILL was NOT ready!!! Shauna then proceeded to explain to the girl all the trouble we have experienced so far with them and its our 1st time staying with them so she hooked us up! We got a room on the 51st floor(see pics of our view) which was a suite that included 2 bathrooms a mini bar and fridge full of snacks if you wish to buy them, central air, a vanity to get ready at and jetted tubs!! She also gave us $20 bucks in drink vouchers as well as VIP passes to The Playboy Club & Ghost Bar(which we did not use but they are good tile end of Aug so who knows) :o) The room was awesome! Good Job Babe :o)We then ate a little room service and got ready for the concert; the opening band was not that great they were like a gypsy metal folk bank idk lol but System rocked it!!!! Alright now System in Irvine was a bit of a different experience lol We had never been to this venue and didnt know what to expect we did however expect it to be similar to the Glen Helen Pavilion that we have been to 2 times, boy were we wrong. People we tailgating in the parking lot as we were also and there were random cops stopping people asking them for their ID, checking their vehicles, and their person which wasnt a very comfortable feeling so we decided to go in after the beer was gone lol The lawn was not that far away from the main stage so the seats were not that bad of coarse the opening band was the same and we kind of just sat there but when System came on the place was on fire!! Literally....the lawn is usually a place where fires are started as well as random pits however for the most part they stick to themselves well not here. The hill was on a 15% grade so it was quiet steep to stand on in the 1st place and they began to create a pit close by us about 10 feet away which then grew larger and larger and we began to get hit and pushed toward the end. It only was about the last 3-4 songs but the brutalness of it all was something I never want to experience again in my life I was sore for 2 day straight afterward; HOWEVER we did have an awesome time other that that aspect.
