Ethan's 5th Birthday Party

This past Saturday was Ethan's 5th birthday party! We invited really close friends and family to his party and had quite a turn out. There was about 5 kids here to play with and about 15 adults overall I was happy with the outcome. We rented a bounce house from us as his birthday present and the kids had a blast in it after of coarse spending 2-3 hours with the adults trying to get it up and running because we were having electrical issues :( but in the end we got it up and running and working I was so happy. For the first few house we just let the kids run around and play until it was time to eat. I made carnitas tacos with rice and beans, Shauna's mom helped me alot in the kitchen which was nice since I already have back pain like crazy and everyone seemed to like it and thought it was pretty good :) yay me it was the first time Ive ever made it. After dinner, Uncle Mike was here so we got to do presents and cake. He got some really cool presents that he has been wanting for a very long time. he also got a new turtle, yes a living turtle from his auntie, uncle and cousin. Its a Sulcata Tortoise and right now its just a tiny baby but it says they can live for over 100 years and can grow to be up to 150 lbs and 3 1/2 feet in diameter!! He's going to be a big boy lol. It was now cake time we had everyone come around and sing happy birthday and the kids along with some adults enjoyed some cake and ice cream. The party was starting to dwindle down and many people we leaving, however our good friend, Chris, decided to stay a while helping me clean up and we all went out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings later that night. Ethan wouldn't hold his turtle at his party but the next day we got him to hold him and sit around him so hes getting more use to him and his name is FRANKLIN!
