Ethan's EEG test

Yesterday, Ethan had an EEG done at the hospital which will hopefully tell us why he gets so shaky. When he is focusing or doing things that require fine motor skills his hands will begin to shake like a tremor. The Dr's are not sure what is wrong so we decided to do an EEG to see if that will begin to explain things and we can get on the path to starting to correct it. I had no idea what to expect I expected there to be some extensive testing so I requested that he have sedation because they wanted him to remain completely still. I had to keep him up until 1230am on Wed night and then wake him back up at 430am on Thursday morning. He wasn't allowed to have any food or drink since midnight the night before which was so hard for me to keep him from food. We went to the hospital and after about 30 mins of waiting we meet the nurse and she gave him the sedation medicine and we went to the room. He did amazing he fell asleep within minutes of laying down and there was a thing that went around his head to test his brain wave activity it was strange looking but he did amazing. He woke up slightly after and once it was over his legs were a little wobbly so Shauna carried him out to the car. We picked up breakfast and then headed home and took a 3 hour nap. It was the best nap ever lol I wont know the results until we go into the Drs office but I will definitely blog about it once I know more in detail.
