Snow Day

The time finally came that we got our winter snow, and usually when it happens we get a tiny bit enough to say it snowed and then its gone as fast as it came, well it still didn't last long this time but we did get about 1 1/2- 2 inches of snow and Ethan was able to play in it as well as watch it fall. It started snowing in the later evening around 10pm and then continued to snow. We let Ethan stay up until around 1am so he could watch the snow fall and he went out and stood in it for a tiny bit. The next morning I woke up at 7am to check to see if the snow was sticking and if it was worth waking him up that early since he went to bed so late but long behold it was sticking yay!! I went into the bedroom and asked if he wanted to wake up and play in it of coarse he did. We got him dressed and allowed him to go out in it for a little bit, it was pretty windy and still snowing so it was cold but he did run around a little and even made a snow angel. After we played in the snow we brought him and and relaxed a little bit but then around 9am he wanted to go play again so we all got dressed and went outside, threw snowballs at each other, Shauna & Ethan chased each other around and Ethan was pushed into the snow a few times, he loved it. Then we threw snowballs at Star which she caught in her mouth it was so funny. It was a great snow day and even though it was the start of me getting sick I still enjoyed the time I spent outside with little man.
